DVOR

A person in dire need is not the one the funraiser was for.....4 cars in the driveway....above average groomed
home with all the accessories...grown children....all have jobs.....but her husband is a gem and lovely man who has suffered a misfortune and only have the best of thoughts for him.

Someone who can go on hiatis for 5 weeks (2011) and 3 months (2010) is not in dire need.   someone who never has enough....someone who has received many gratutities in the past year in the name of a family crisis.
has made it clear that she needs money.

These are the facts and the very fact that DM was collecting money and doing a 50 50 raffle tells me just how political and a sham this was.   Politicians like the both of you play dirty...are greedy ...and prey on folks that are
just as greedy.....BIRDS OF A FEATHER STICK TOGETHER.....

Don't you preach to me about what I believe or how I should accept the behavior of a few bad apples.
This was not a good faith fundraiser, as you want people to believe....politicians have no conscience....and
donate to causes just to show up

AMEN

I am not preaching to anyone -- you and the other nayboobs are the only ones preaching.. and the FACT is that NO ONE REQUIRED YOU TO ATTEND THE FUNDRAISER -- and quite frankly NO ONE CARES THAT YOU DIDN'T.  Furthermore, I don't care whether you think it was not in good faith or whether you think it was political or whatever.   I know what my motives were for supporting it -- and I certainly have never nor will ever need YOUR approval to support a cause that I believe is worthy.

Finally - if you label people trying to help other people as "bad apples", I would suggest that YOUR thinking and YOUR moral compass/conscience is pretty screwed up.

The statements that are made concerning this topic  are true and factual..

and BTW   you do your dirty work when everyone else is sleeping....and come back on when the discussion hits
the truth and you have to defend the bad guys.

Statements from these bloggers are what they know and believe    the truth hurts

first -- I have NEVER defended the "bad guys" -- that would be you and the other Nayboobs

second -- you are dillusional enough to believe your hate-filled statements are the truth .. but they are not

IT WAS NOT A POLITICAL EVENT .. IT WAS A FUNDRAISER FOR A NEIGHBOR IN NEED  ---- and if you don't like it  ... that is your problem .. grow up and deal with it.

don't have to deal with what was NOT the truth about this dire person in need.

It was a poitical event and the pic shows who was running the show...

You grow up and stop blowing smoke to cover up what was a sham.

the problem lies with the GENTLEMAN'S CLUB plus ONE....and it will always be as long as the ONE keeps on
plugging away for her personal agenda.

We - Democrats and the Re-Unite Rotterdam Team -  have raised enough money on our own .. we don't need to pull "cheap stunts" like Rotterdam's Worst or the NNTP/GOP does to get money and votes.

Shooo SCAT ...go away Troll!

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

i'ts not about the money for the PARTY.

the factor  is about who this fundraiser was for.

what these donators don't know is the truth about the "DIRE NEED"

Heard in the donut shop
This woman makes $13.00/hr....has work elsewhere...and hours assigned were changed but who knows nowwhat is going on because of the TB and their biased opinion of what rules should apply to who.
\Seniors at the Brass Rail were constantly being reminded about money problems with this woman.   and some
complained to each other....the senior click bought into the whining...thus, the cohort for DM got a big sum of
money possibly to fly back to her native country Argentina.
Mrs Cook was gone for 5 weeks this past year on hiatis to Argentina with husband)lasts year 3 months)
.  everyone is entitled to their own business but, the fact that this fundraiser was a scam and fraud to the
community .... this family was not broke.
This woman received all kinds of donations with money and food  since last year.  and the question is    asan
employee of the Town how much are you supposed to collect in perks.
and viewing the pic at the fundraiser  $5.00 for 1 ticket for the 50/50 ....wasn't  that over the top?
Like I  said....there are people that are in very dire need....and are not getting this so=called help from the DEM party..so don't tell me this was a community effort...yes one that was a scam......

You are more than welcome to organize a fundraiser for people that you feel are "more deserving".  Quite frankly, it is NOT a matter of anyone being more or less deserving --- COMMUNITY CARES and helps anyone in need out.

As for what the Democratic Party does communally or through its individual members to help people out in need,  I don't think you or anybody has the right to say that we don't do enough.   The town committee has supported various  causes, individual committeepersons support various causes and the rank & file of the party support various causes.

It is time for you Nayboobs to stop politicizing this event and put your money and efforts where your big mouths are  --- and show the rest of the community that you even give a rat's a** about people other than yourselves.

You do well giving the taxpayer's money out, we know that.
