Believe what? That DM has been reinvented as a fiscal watch dog through her role as baby sitter at the Senior Center where she was mired in controversy, politics, trouble, he-said-she-said stuff and DRAMA? (how did she have time to oversee the budget?)

Or that the clerk candidate is "being paid" to run? Which is the most foolish thing posted here since every syllable of DVOR and his alter egos.

All I know is that there is this bully mentality and sense of entitlement that needs to be stopped.

Does anyone remember when the reporter in Massachusetts asked Scott Brown why he thought he had any right to run for the "Ted Kennedy Seat?????"

Well the local democrap-copservatives think this is the "EUNICE ESPOSITO SEAT" and that NO REPUBLICAN OR NON DEMOCRAP HAS A RIGHT TO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't believe anyone was paid to run - and that MM should find new sources of information.

MM is the horses mouth?  More like the horse's tuchis.  Get a grip.  DM has this in the bag.  She is still the one with the most experience in Town government whether you like her or not.  Will agree she did not have any inkling about the senior citizen situation.  But the seniors liked her well enough.  And she was more well thought of than HV who was so busy blinking her eyes that she never understood what seniors needed or wanted.  You people have got to get another a hobby.  and BTW Koza who?  Exactly.

. Money does not win elections

That's just too funny cause 'his money' certainly won the last election for the dems. And that is what the democons were banking on and used him for.

Remember? REVITALIZE ROTTERDAM was the democons mantra!!

Not sure what justice you are speaking about...but the guys in there now are certainly better than most lawyers I know--especially the one on this board hiding in the dress.  Why not put in the lazy and clueless Mertz?  ROTFLMAO.  No more time for you fools--heading to NYC.

the clerk job is able to 'stop up' the works at town hall if they do not agree with the administration.....that means applying for grants, getting contracts signed, getting regulations signed etc.....the clerk can 'conveniently' forget something....

it IS a powerful position when it comes to glue OR grease in the cogs or sprockets.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

I also heard from a reliable source that the candidate is being paid $20,000 to run against DM.   I guess that's how a businessman runs his business.

Gee, I remember looking at the Revitalize Rotterdam contributors and I didn't hear anybody complain when FDG and friends dropped big cash on their campaign.  Or when he dropped money into the Senior Center kitchen.

Now, can somebody explain this to me, how is FDG paying this person?  Is he putting them on his business payroll?  Or is this $20K in campaign contributions?  Sound like a whopper of a lie to me.
