Rotterdam should unite against divided Democrats

Recently I was amused to receive an advertisement for a slate of townwide candidates that proclaimed, “Let’s Reunite Rotterdam.”
Rotterdam is united. The fl ooding and aftermath of Hurricane Irene has shown us that. The caring neighbors and helping hands of residents throughout town, who reached out to help those who’d lost everything, proves how united we are. But we are big enough to ignore that insult. The world doesn’t revolve around their petty political squabbles.
Clearly the politicians of the Rotterdam Democratic Party are not united, but asking the residents to vote them in again, even though they occupy every single offi ce in town, and even the county Legislature district is kind of foolish.
Since they hold every seat and, through their own fault, are not united, asking us to blindly elect them again reminds me of the arsonist who sets a house on fi re, then rushes in to save the inhabitants to become a hero! Maybe they tried to say, “Reignite Rotterdam.”
I think this year every voter should overlook their entire line and skip to the one below it. If they can’t be united when every last official in town is of the same party and need to “rescue” us (from themselves), then what other option do we have? Let’s not reward them by giving them another term.

Well stated Mary. And I do like the REIGNITE ROTTERDAM!

BURN BABY BURN!!!!!!!!!!

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

I don't know how much more on target she could be.  She hit the bullseye directly in the center.

I'd vote for Mary for town clerk. Perhaps rotterdamians should make her a write-in!

One party never works. Finally a voice of reason above the din of a hundred new Joseph Goebbels. 3,500 new jobs, a industrial development gin mill, a submarine park. Had enough-YET? The DEM morons need more obnoxious spokesmen and bigger signs- lol.
