I'm sure it will be back.  CVS will move a tree on the site plan and say it is revised

So can rotterdamians assume that a cvs at the 4 corners is dead in the water now? Or is there yet another back door to go through?

Actually, this means that it wasn't approved, but it also wasn't really declined either.  Sorry to say to the residents of the 4 Corners area, this means that this can (and probably will) come up on the next town board meeting, which is actually scheduled to occur at the firehouse in Rotterdam Junction.  Take it out of the area that it's actually affecting, and they will probably vote for it to go through.

It was and still will be.  They're only using empty threats that they will move out of town if they don't get the approval to go to 4 Corners.  The past administrations in this town have made it a haven for the elderly and therefore a cash cow for the pharmacies.  Why do you think they're all buying their own land and paying taxes in town to build these nice big new buildings?  Because there's the customers for them.  Rotterdam has a severely aging population, and no new blood coming in.

Come on here folks....there are more drug stores in rotterdam then they need. And most folks today order their scripts on-line as mandated by their insurance companies. Drug stores are becoming a thing of the past. Even they know that!!! If they weren't, you wouldn't be able to buy beer or toilet paper at any of them. They had to find another draw other than scripts!!!

And Stringer, sorry that you will be inconvenienced to drive that extra 4 blocks to get to another pharmacy!

So, by this logic, only Rite Aid and Eckerd have a right to do business in this town as the only two drug stores?

I don't buy medication in Walmart, nor do I buy meat.  I categorically refuse to shop in Kmart - so now I only have two choices.

Amazing.
