Harry Reid: "Well, for most Americans, [bike paths] are absolutely important. It's good for purposes of allowing people to travel, um, without burning all the fossil fuel on the highways. I got up this morning really early, and went out and did my exercise. I'm not exaggerating--scores!--at least 30 or 40 bikes--so scores may be a slight exaggeration--of people, not just for exercise, traveling to work. Backpacks on--they are going to work. That's what bike paths are all about!"

Can you imagine DV riding a bike?    I'd love to see it.   He'd actually probably need one of those big adult sized tricyles.   And still would be huffing and puffing.   As a family, we've ridden our bikes from home and down to and on the bike bath.   Never saw DV.     (yeah, we all know he'll try to say he rides a bike all over the plac, no, he'll say it trying to get ua to believe it)

speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Bike paths because we have to explore the west....I certainly hope the 'bike trains' are protected from the natives.....how about wagons again...??? folks moved to the cities to NOT have to sweat...have you seen so many fat poor folks
in your life....how about giving away bikes first....

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

I have to agree with Senator Reid -- bike paths are important -- and in almost every state that I recently visited communities have included bike paths in the construction of their road systems.   Going forward, bike paths should be included when rebuilding ALL of the major roadways in the towns and cities across New York State.

As for my personal exercise regime,  I haven't owned a bike in years - but have considered buying one in the near future.   My preference is swimming laps naked.   I don't disclose the location or times for my swimming so as not to cause a mob of females to gather and swoon due to my irresistibly proportioned manly physique.
