Have the rotterdam DPW workers been complaining?

Because after all, you wouldn't want to cut out a level of bureaucracy while trying to get things fixed in town.  Please contact the secretary, and she'll jump on the batphone to the appropriate personnel.

I am assuming they  mean taking personal phone calls that are  not related to the job.....yes? If that is the case, than the town/employer has every right to restrict the tax paid cell phones to be used for 'work' purposes only.

I could understand it in that case, but it appears that unless you are an elected official, you're not supposed to get the phone number.  If there's an emergency and/or something that someone needed to get back to someone in the DPW, they should be able to have the number, and this is almost what this is explicitly stating cannot occur.

Where'd you learn how to read Rampage? FDG school for reading and comprehension studies? IT SAYS OFFICIALS NOT ELECTED OFFICIALS...I'd say it makes sense we need these guys to be able to get work done without every resident blowing up their cell phones 24/7 when they are like, ya know, trying to save our town.... If there is an emergency they will get a call from town hall, fire official, police official, county official etc this is really a bad thing?????????????

Residents are important and their concerns NEED to be addressed rapidly! But at the end of the day I'd rather get my water fixed than have mike g sing me a lullaby

Don't know the facts. Only saying that these taxpaid phones should not be used for 'personal use'............if that is the case. My private sector employer supplies us with cell phones....for work related issues only. Personal phone calls are to be used with our personal cell phones..........................IF THAT IS THE CASE HERE....and it appears that no one knows for sure.....yes?

If my boss or co-employees need to contact me....that line better not be tied up because of personal phone calls. Not to mention....the more calls the more $$$$$.
