they can privately pay for the 'special' equipement needed.....I'm sure  they could arrange it....they are not stupid people or are they?

but Rotterdam Corporate Park is NOT the only commercial property that needs that kind of equipment if there is a fire -----   District #5 covers parts of Guilderland and Princetown that have a number of commercial establishments NOW and the potential for more down the road  ............

bottomline -- District #5 needs the expansion to properly house its current equipment and its anticipated future need for newer equipment  ------------- the proposal is EXTREMELY REASONABLE

VOTE YES ON DISTRICT  #5   REFERENDUM

People who don't pay taxes should ot be spewing this crap and telling taxpayers to vote to increase their taxes.   It's bad enough when people live off the public dole, but to be living off people who live off the public dole.

This is not a socialist country.

One has to wonder why those who endorse government gin mills, goverment theaters, goverment restauants, goverment bakeries, etc. etc., why don't the people who endorse this stuff just pack up and move to a socialist country

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Is that really three hours on Tuesday Oct 25th? There must be a school concert at Schalmont or something then too. Wow. The democraps are always moaning and grinding their teeth when there is "the cost of an election" so why not hold it coinciding with election day? Oh I m sure DV will have the inside reason (aka LIE) that it has to be held on the 25th and for only between the hours of 6 and 9!

I've just found out, the equipment they currently have DOES fit in the station, without an issue - but they're hoping to bond/finance 3 new trucks in the next 24 months, that would be larger (taller and longer) - which would not fit in the existing building.

So, the answer to my question is, this is an unnecessary upgrade for their current equipment.
