Does anyone know of any locations of vinyl fence between a residential area and a commercial building (Roterdam is nice but other towns are good too)?  I know the wal mart area.  I'd like to take some photos to bring to the future planning board meeting.  Thanks!

I could not stop laughing....what kind of business doesn't know how to get to whomever they need to to discuss relocating their business. That was such an absurd claim that I had to read it several times to be sure I was reading what I thought I was..... You want to put a business in the town, call the town hall and ask for town supervisor to tell him of your interest; visit town hall and ask to meet with someone to discuss opening a business in town; have your lawyer make contact.......who says here's a slip of paper, give it to the town supervisor and have them call me....YAH, right. If I was Supvr, I wouldn't call anyone....they want to open here, then come here and talk to me, WTF.  SO, if this claim is really true, then it explains the lack of calling and maybe the snide remark.  UN#######BELIEVABLE !!!!

We are glad that you are NOT the supervisor --- any elected official worth his or her salt would have made the courtesy phone call  ---  the fact that these two - Del Gallo and Godlewski did NOT speaks volumes about either there being "out of  touch" or being being arrogant or both.
The fact is that the Deputy Supervisor made a snotty comment about the business owners political affiliation - which based on everything else that I know about Mr. Godlewski- means that he refused to extend the courtesy of contacting the interested business person because he had not received a campaign contribution from the business owner.     Oh -- and BTW -- the business owner IS a current resident of the town.

IF they're residents of the town, and IF they were serious, why didn't they go to town hall, attend a town board meeting, or visit FDG at the pool store?

The whole thing is a lie, I wouldn't get too worked up.

Look, a business owner who wants to EXPAND and HAVE ANOTHER LOCATION or MOVE HIS LOCATION to a town or city doesn't first call the town politicians for "permission" or "advice" or "help" or "assistance" or a "blessing" or a friendly pat on the back. They just don't CARE what the temporary town leader SAYS, or DOES, or HOW MUCH THEY STROKE HIM. They usually do their homework, THEN CALL A FRICKING REALTOR!!!!!!!!!

YOU DUMMY! Only a stupid government-dependent in mind and body DEMOCRAP like YOU, thinks a business needs to secure some sort of phone call or good karma, or suck job FROM A POLITICIAN before they make the NEXT FRICKING MOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DUMB

DUMB

DUMB

BUSINESS PEOPLE GO WHERE THEY WANT TO GO WHETHER THE TOWN POLITICOS SUCK THEM OFF, OR GLADHAND THEM OR NOTTTTTTTTTTTT!

THAT REALITY IS WHY YOUR STORY IS ANOTHER BIT OF YOUR FANTASY ISLAND WORLD YOU LIVE IN! YOU ARE HERVE VILLAUCHEZ AND  YOU ARE LOOKING FOR BIG BROTHER TO WATCH OVER YOU, MANBOY! REAL BUSINESSES DON'T NEED DELGALLO, GODLEWSKI, BUFFARDI, JASENSKI, MARTIN OR WHOEVER TO GIVE THEM AN "OK"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

The TRUTH is the TRUTH ... and what I posted is the truth ... no matter what a bunch of horse's asses (MT, JB,GB or mertie post).

The bottom line is that a good supervisor and/or deputy supervisor would have made the call and would have answered any questions that the business person  (in this case) or any resident had.   An even better supervisor and/or deputy supervisor  would be LOOKING FOR OPPORTUNITIES TO PERSONALLY INVITE business people to look at and invest in Rotterdam.

Maybe Mr. DelGallo and Boob G (name we shall not speak) are too busy planning their campaign dirty tricks, drafting another lying political ad  or plotting which town employee to "mess with" by moving them God knows where around town.

CVS does not appear to care about the neighborhood and aesthetics if they intent to install a black vinyl fence at the Lawndale side.  I think a nice picket and aluminum fence and small shrubs are in order.  I'll be at town hall at 9am tomorrow with my FOIL form in hand to check out these plans.

the critical impact legislation had this all mapped out!!!
GONE!! thanks to the tb taking the advice of the attorney representing these developers!!
Oh well.....that is rotterdam after all.........the laughing stock sh!t hole of the capital region.

Update - Resolution has been tabled till next TB meeting!  Lots of great people came out and spoke their minds.  CVS or the people selling their homes were not there to represent the other side of the discussion.

It will all depend on how much the property owner is going to make off of this sale AND how much clout  they have with the town board or who they're friends with
that's the way things work in rotterdam.
