Different name. Similar concepts. Same locations.
Cw Price is a discount clothing chain much like the late A.J. Wright. The TJX Cos., which owned A.J. Wright (along with T.J. Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods, shut down the A.J. Wright chain in February.

It will go good with the grafitti on Altamont Ave.

Garbage attracts garbage... Walmart, City Mission (Goodwill), Pizza shop,etc..
With that, what do we expect?
Compare that with Mohawk Commons....

Pizza shop on every friggin corner, crap stores, low income clientele from
the "Hill", it just keeps getting better and better. Blight popping up everywhere
(which by the way is not being taken care of by property owners but by the town), signs up
on every pole and on the ground for Pete the Plumber, We Buy Houses,
Sonrise Church, Open Arms Church, etc., etc. and don't forget that wonderful pond
forming at that garage on Broadway.  Is anyone but me sick of this $hit?

Don't you realize a DEM "renaissance" when you see it? Stop being so negative and telling it like it is. Judy DAG said that everything is peachy keen. So what a record County deficit and $9 MILLION County tax increase for the new DEM Home. You forgot to mention Hamburg St which is looking more like Crane and Broadway by the minute. After the DEMS raise taxes again sure that things will greatly improve.

Turning into a dump, really bad. Elderly people I speak to say it has never been worse and can't believe this is the town they loved for 60 years. Thanks, democraps. You turned the city into a sewer and now Rotterdam. Next hatchet job: Niskayuna,

I don't mean to be mean toward anyone, but the people I see traveling on Helderberg Ave do leave me thinking about the decline of the neighborhoods.  People pushing carts with bundles of bottles or dragging bundles of bottles behind on bikes; groups of teens just cerless in how they treat the area and the traffice flow.....it's sad i so many ways, fro poverty to just a degradation of the neighborhood and the way many of today's youth are.  Guess we're not immune to what goes on elsewhere, but it is sad.

Oh gosh.  Went over to the Hallmark store today and also to pick up an Rx at Hannaford for my dad.  UGH!   Schenectady's "finest" were there, hangin' out in front of the store.

And then there were those who were kind of "blocking the street," i.e., that "road" on the edge of the parking lot, near the buildings, just standin' there as traffic was approaching.   And DV is overjoyed, he's so proud that the town is attracting all these low life businessesm it's a renaissance
