Yes, I like playing fun with statistics like you. "Obama death threats UP 400%!!" That is your proof that there is a right wing racist movement threatening America. But when you look at the total number of threats versus the total population(and that's only the American population. Since he is a world leader, these calls could include foreign calls) 400% sounds like a huge number until you put the number in perspective with the population, you realize that the death threats to Bush and Obama it is statistically inconsequential. But, it is fun to play with statistics when you are trying to make your point.
The DHS released that report in 2009. It has been two years, have they released a follow up report measuring the accuracy of the report? Has anything they predicted have a substantial increase to prove their findings? Or did they just float that out there so lefties can use it indefinitely to serve as proof for their anti conservative rhetoric?

Suppose in your lifetime you remember 2 of these attempts being successful... still no worries Right?
Suppose there were groups offering these killers huge sums of money to kill you... You Don't Care, of course.

Did you know how many time GWB received death treats prior to knowing Obama's was up 400% in comparison? Of course not. How about the number of death threats and assassination attempts against other prior presidents? Based on the numbers in the article, Bush received 8 death threats a day(or 3000 divided by 365). It is part of the job. They are statistically insignificant numbers, especially when trying to used them as proof of a huge right wing racist terror problem in America.

Seventeen Republican Senators in addition to Republican Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald received the email threat that stated they should put their "things in order because you will be killed and your families also will be killed."
The email, which in the subject said "Atten: Death threat!!!! Bomb!!!!," was sent at 9:18 p.m. Wednesday, after the Senate, with Democrats absent, voted to eliminate most collective bargaining provisions for most public workers.
In addition, all of the Assembly Republicans, including Speaker Jeff Fitzgerald, received an email death threat about 10:30 Wednesday night, said John Jagler, a spokesman for Jeff Fitzgerald. That email stated "Vote no and save your life."
Jagler said the threat talked about shooting the representative and planting bombs in places he frequented.

Shadow, if you read the text, you'd see that the Left does have a domestic terrorist issue also. In the 70's and 80's it was a similar problem to todays Right Wing Terrorists. Black Panthers, Weather Underground etc. The FBI managed to infiltrate and eliminate the vast majority of the threat. (as stated in the Homeland Security Text)
Today, the Right Wingers are the threat... a real threat with real people being killed. Many of the Anti Govt Militia groups are now being infiltrated by FBI informants to gather more information about these groups. It's a slow process and the FBI recognizes that the Right Wing Terrorist threat is real.

We have had mass murderers throughout our history and they will continue to plague us. The report was put together by experts in this field. The FBI is in the business of finding and eliminating this threat... they've been doing it for a long time and doing it very well.
THE REPORT STATES THAT THERE ARE BOTH RIGHT AND LEFT WING TERRORIST GROUPS... (it's in the report, but you seem unable to comprehend it) The report states that much of the Left wing terrorist groups have been largely neutralized... (not eliminated) while the Right Wing Terrorist groups are on the upswing, growing and increasing in actual terrorist acts being attempted and carried out.
