Wasn't it savage who had to 'pay' folks to get sigs and campaign for her? AND SHE LOST!! Now I'm not saying that gathering sigs from outsiders is that unusual. However, it is reflective of how much local support one has. If the democons, as they say, are that popular among the electorate, you'd think that all of their 'workers' would be local home growns.
