Rotterdam police have arrested a man who allegedly burglarized a home early Saturday morning.
Police say that at approximately 1:32 a.m. officers responded to a call about a burglary in progress at 619 Duanesburd Road. After a brief search and investigation a suspect was found hiding the a wooded area behind the victim's residence.
Delmorris Sampson Jr. was taken into custody and charged with burglary in the second degree, a felony.
He was arraigned before Judge Kevin Mercoglan and is now being held is Schenectady County Jail with bail set at $25,000 cash.
