The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

It's not easy being me... as the only voice of reason on a board of mostly right wingers is a huge undertaking!
Now if I can just find out where I left my glasses and my car keys....

HAAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

The Barbecue Test

The Acid Tests
I’m British it must be said, so I’m not really meant to be able to predict results of the U.S. election,
but it seems to me Mitt Romney is doomed to fail. Romney and Ryan look like a couple of slick
consultants about to downsize a factory. While a bit of downsizing wouldn’t necessarily be a bad
thing for America, the question is, will the electorate gladly sign up for it??

I have two ‘acid tests’ for considering candidates in, and identifying the winner of, a presidential
race. Each test involves asking yourself a single, simple question.

Acid Test 1: “Would you have this person around on a Saturday for a barbecue, if the opportunity
arose?”
Acid Test 2: “Which candidate would you most prefer to leave your kids with for an evening? “
In this case, Romney fails the barbeque test, making the second test surplus to requirements.
Anyway, according to the polls, no test will be needed at all. Obama’s reelection looks close to
certain; the guy will practically have to implode from here on in to lose.

(Note, in a tight race, the one that gets the babysitting job is the one that’s going to win!)

(Note, if you wouldn't piss on either of them you have awaken from your coma and realize it doesn't matter)

Now that you bring it up that way, I really do think that the babysitting job would shed some new light on it.  While Mitt seems like one that may have a few friends over, or may step out for a while here and there, Barry has already shown how he will move into your house, raid the cabinets, throw a gigantic party, and expect you to clean up after the party, and after you pay him.  Hopefully, Barry remembers that his job IS to actually babysit, and not to run your house as if it was his own.

I would certainly have Mitt Romney over for dinner.  Then he and his wife be able to enjoy the world's greatest BBQ.  Unless they come over on a night when I am cooking Indian cuisine or Mediterranean cuisine.

Are Romney's Tax Returns Hiding Voter Fraud?

"Tax returns require taxpayers to state their residence address, and the Romney returns already produced,
although partially redacted, state clearly that they lived in 'Belmont, MA 02478' in 2012 (tax year 2011)
and 2011 (tax year 2010)... But the Romneys, arbitrarily, refuse to disclose a copy of the returns they
filed in 2010 or 2009 (for tax years 2009 and 2008) - which, perhaps not coincidentally, bracket the time
period when Romney allegedly committed fraud by voting in Massachusetts when he actually resided in
California. So here's the question: did Romney put his son's basement's address on the returns he filed
in 2009 and 2010? Or did he truthfully use his real (non-Massachusetts) address, thus implicating himself
in voter fraud?"

Is Obama hiding the fact that he was a foreign student and that's why he won't release his college transcripts?
