The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Ann Romney Says No More Tax Returns
(Ann isn't running for President, her husband is... I wonder why Ann is speaking for Mitt? )

Ann Romney told NBC News that her husband will not be putting out any additional tax returns:
"We have been very transparent to what's legally required of us."
and
"There's going to be no more tax releases given."

She added "there's nothing we're hiding."

Not very convincing is it?

Hey, when the school transcripts and passports are released, maybe he'll release additional years.

Exactly how many returns did we see from Barry before he was elected?

For the same reason that Slick Hilly couldn't keep her trap shut while her husband was in the Oral Office?  We had to listen to her for 8 years, you can listen to Mrs. Romney for a few months while her husband runs for the Presidency (then for at least 4 years while he serves).

From Factcheck.org:

It would be illegal under federal law (the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974) for Occidental,
Columbia or Harvard Law School to give any former student’s records to reporters or members of the public
without that person’s specific, written permission. Obama hasn’t released them, but neither have other
presidential candidates released their college records. George W. Bush’s grades at Yale eventually
became public, but only because somebody leaked them to the New Yorker magazine. Bush himself
refused to release them, according to a 1999 profile in the Washington Post.

Obama's passport:

He served three terms representing the 13th District in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004 (so, where's the 97-00 returns?)  He lost the election in 00, and in 04 was elected to the US Senate, then as president.  So, basically, they've both released the required number of returns.

As the law does not require the release of any tax returns, the release of these 500+ pages of tax returns goes above and beyond what is required.

In addition, Gov. Romney has released numerous financial disclosures since 2002, as required by law – which have also been posted on this site. There are 3 federal Public Financial Disclosures (from 2007, 2011, and 2012), and 6 Massachusetts Statements of Financial Interests (from 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007).

With a decade's worth of financial disclosure documents and the Romneys' recent tax returns, the American people have an extensive view of the Governor's personal finances, above and beyond what is required by the law.

To quote Mitt's dad,

In 1967 when George Romney (Mitt's Dad) released his actual tax returns for the previous 12 years.
“One year could be a fluke, perhaps done for show,”
the elder Romney said then. His son, the presumptive Republican nominee in 2012, prefers to show
almost nothing. Mitt Romney has only released his tax returns for 2010 and an estimate for 2011.
That’s not good enough.
What's he hiding?

I don't see him "hiding" anything, sorry.

A full copy of their final 2011 return will be made public as soon as it is filed in the upcoming weeks.

Facing questions about why she and other top Congressional officials won’t release their tax returns, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) downplayed her previous demands for presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney to release his, calling the issue a distraction.

As recently as Wednesday, Pelosi had strongly urged Romney to provide further disclosure of his tax returns. But today, while maintaining Romney should release more documents because of “custom” and “tradition,” Pelosi said the issue was trivial compared with economic issues.

Look at him dance!!!  Look at him bob and weave... rope a dope... even an occasional jab....
Everything!!!

Everything EXCEPT what his dad knew to be an important piece of information.  HIS TAX RETURNS!

What is he hiding??? That he paid 1% while the rest of us paid 18, 22 or even 30% in taxes?
Is he hiding that he paid NO TAX AT ALL?

The Mitt wants us to pay his share of taxes while he pays none.
Bottom line...
Mitt... LISTEN TO YOUR DAD AND RELEASE YOUR TAX RETURNS JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.

Are these "numerous financial disclosures" the ones that show Mitt to be the CEO of Bain, exporting
US jobs to China, while claiming to have left Bain???
Are those the "numerous financial disclosures" you're posting about???

Nancy was right - this is nothing but a distraction.

Is this really the best the DEM's can come up with?

LOL, you're too funny.  Keep it up, we're enjoying your humors distractions throughout the day/week/month.

Distraction??? You mean like (LOL!) Obama's school transcripts DISTRACTION that YOU questioned???
Besides the undisputed FACT that Obama graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hardvard Law School???
OR
The DISTRACTION when Romney's tax returns are questioned, when YOU posted questions about
Obama's Passport???
That Distraction???  Is that the DISTRACTION YOU ASK ABOUT???

If Romney has nothing to hide... he would have already posted his tax returns...
Barack Obama did:
2000 | 2001 | 2002 | 2003 | 2004 | 2005 | 2006 | 2007 | 2008 | 2009 | 2010 | 2011
Like Joe Biden did:
1998 | 1999 | 2000 | 2001 | 2002 | 2003 | 2004 | 2005 | 2006 | 2007 | 2008 | 2009 | 2010 | 2011

The funny part is that some people think that Obama's school transcript is important... yet make
excuses and distractions about Romney's tax returns.

My guess... Romney DID pay some taxes... probably under 3%.
