Republican Voters refuse to vote... a good omen for Obama in November.
The results in Nevada mark the third Republican primary so far where turnout has been below 2008 levels.

Box, thank you for providing clever left wing propaganda...If people aren't paying attention to the "Among Resistered Republicans", they would likely believe that voter turnout is down OVERALL for each state you and Think Progress listed.  The fact is, Florida was the only state down in voter turnout, Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina are actually UP compared to 2008.

South Carolina scores record primary turnout

South Carolina's Republican voters set a new primary turnout record Saturday when more than 600,000 of them went to the polls, shattering the previous mark set in 2000.

With 13 precincts still uncounted Sunday morning, 601,166 votes already were recorded, topping 2000's turnout of 537,101 and well ahead of 2008's 445,499 voters. Earlier in the week, officials had projected a moderate turnout about equivalent to the 2008 primary

It does prove my point... and the subject of my post... REPUBLICANS ARE NOT VOTING IN THE REPUBLICAN PRIMARIES.
More REGISTERED REPUBLICANS voted in the 2008 primaries than in the 2012 primaries in New Hampshire, Florida and
Nevada... (just like I posted)

Mitt Romney won the Conservative Political Action Conference straw poll!!!
A huge victory for Romney... A huge defeat for Ron Paul

Romney 38%,
Santorum 31%,
Gingrich at 15%
Paul in LAST PLACE WITH ONLY12%

Remember when Ron Paul scammed the CPAC into making it appear that his VICTORY actually meant something?
When all parties take part in the poll... Ron Paul finishes last.

"Watching the Republican Party struggling to agree on a presidential candidate, one wonders whether the G.O.P. shouldn't
just sit this election out -- just give 2012 a pass."

"You know how in Scrabble sometimes you look at your seven letters and you've got only vowels that spell nothing?
What do you do? You go back to the pile. You throw your letters back and hope to pick up better ones to work with.
That's what Republican primary voters seem to be doing. They just keep going back to the pile but still coming up with
only vowels that spell nothing."
(Thomas Friedman)

NO CIC... Straw polls have never meant anything... but you'd never know that when Paul was winning them.
A Ron Paul Victory in a straw poll is a Major News Item that is Ignored By the MSM...
A "other than Ron Paul Victory" is a meaningless event.

Ron Paul Groupies are... well, "groupies!"

Romney's CPAC results is what happens when "all parties take part".  Less participation and an establishment candidate win.

Santorum Says Romney Rigged Straw Poll, by "Pulling a 'Paul'"!
Rick Santorum suggested that Mitt Romney's campaign may have rigged a straw poll of conservative activists by paying the
entrance fee for supporters, something traditionally done by candidate Ron Paul.

Said Santorum: "I don't try to rig straw polls."

He added: "You have to talk to the Romney campaign and how many tickets they bought. We've heard all sorts of things."

This coming from a guy that can't raise money...Makes sense.  Maybe if he had some of that Obama/Romney corporate banker Warren Buffett money he could have evened the playing field.

Ron Paul didn't even speak at CPAC and received 12% of the vote.

YUP!  Just like 10 months ago when Ron Paul announced his candidacy... he still draws 10% -15%.
