The TB is just paying him for one more job he can't do.

MG is FDG's one and only employee he will sweep the floors if FDG tells him to. Try saying no MG you have
to many departments and can't do it all admit it and let other employees do some of the jobs he gives
you.
Speak up for once in your life. Now you are in charge of the Supervisor's office when are you going to say
no!!!
The Senior Center is one of the best Sr. Centers around you need to visit the Center on a monthly
basis. The center has over 700-800 people that visit and use the Center.
The Brass Rail is out of control with 2 employees that don't even come to work and never let the
employees at the center know weather they are coming in or not. They call FDG because he is the only one
that will talk to them. They both should give it up and realize they are not needed or wanted. One just talks
on her cell phone all the time and the other one washes washes and washes the dishes for a $40.00 day of
sales. PD can run the Brass Rail and save the tax payers another $9k do more for less and one person can
do it and do it right. Budget time is coming November and 208 days left to a bad error!!!!
Can't wait!!!!

Sorry runny.......but there really is no purpose for a senior center in rotterdam. It has a pathetic line up of events that can be handled by outside concerns. The only folks that go there are folks who want to hear the latest gossip on who's doing who! And the only reason rotterdam has a gossip center is to use it for personal political leverage!! Rotterdam should be ashamed!!!!

As far as MG.............I have honestly heard nothing but good things about him. Rotterdamians say that no one knows the town like he does!! And perhaps he doesn't know how to say 'no'. But in the private sector, that is an employers dream come true and a guarantee for climbing the private sector ladder!!

employess who cant say no are great but, you also have to move the company forward

rotterdam has stood still

just look at how the doors at town hall work  - he can't keep the simple stuff working

bathrooms at town hall are just plain gross

police dept - falling apart

sewer plant not operating at 100% for years

difficulty reading and understanding town code

no maintance, no plan, and no vision, always an excuse - no money - because he is afraid to ask

i hear TEPCO in Japan is looking for a new CEO and MG would be perfect - no different than the man who stepped down

Someone representing the town had to approve  the drainage system when Sunrise Estates was turned over to the town by the developer, you know the drainage system that couldn't be built as engineered, whose responsibility would that have been, MG, or someone else?

SUPERVISOR’S REPORT
Presentation by Clough Harbor (Grand Union)

30 people here

Dan from Clough Harbor

The building needs to be modified as if it were a new building to deal with high winds

We met with the police and courts walked thru each existing space
And we came up with a sq ft. Reduction of 6000 now to 33,000

Bob – laughing,  it is not a property room anymore.
We are trying to create common area to be used by both the police/court –
what is not represent here is how much the property costs

On the 22 we hope to show a video

If we want to move on we will need a resolution for the 22nd

Ok was anybody there that can explain why Grand Union would need to modified to deal with high winds?  It has been there for how many years? And wind has not been an issue yet, just looking to spend more money......

As for the negotiation on the property, they paid $450,000 can think it is worth much more than that, unless there has been major renovation done.

Just seems ridiculous to put it so far from the center of town, when Curry Road is already owned by the town, with identical roadways and traffic.

Residents of the junktion should be proud they're being represented so well.

The cost to go to the Curry Rd site would be worse, with all the things that impact that site, including Golub still owns parts of it....

And the building on Curry Rd is a tear down where Grand Union building can be used, as for center of town, that should have no impact on where the station and court are located

I thought that was a big consideration in the last couple of "studies" done by previous administrations?

The place that the previous administration wanted to build the combined offices was near the 5 corners area hopefully on land near the industrial park or on land in the industrial park.
