Rep. Weiner Denies Sending Lewd Photo, Can't Say Whether Image Is Him
Published June 01, 2011
| FoxNews.com

Rep. Anthony Weiner, sitting down for a set of television interviews Wednesday to answer questions about a lewd photo sent from his Twitter account to a college student, flatly denied sending the image. But he could not say "with certitude" whether the photo, which depicted a man's bulging underwear, was in fact an image of him.
"You know, I can't say with certitude. My system was hacked. Pictures can be manipulated. Pictures can be dropped in and inserted," Weiner said.
The New York Democrat, who is known for his combative style in interviews and on the House floor, granted a series of television interviews after getting testy with reporters late Tuesday.
At the time, he repeatedly said he would not allow the incident to distract him from his job, as he likened what he described as a "prank" to somebody shouting out an insult or throwing a pie during a speech.
Asked point-blank, "Is that picture you?" Weiner replied, "You know I'm not going to talk about this anymore.....................>>>>.....................>>>>.............Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/politic.....acted/#ixzz1O3KRrdJk

Exactly the same as someone in a crowd of 45,000 wanting to throw a pie from the back of the room. Great comparison. Why is a 49 year old married man tweeting to a 21 year old co-ed in Washington State? Resign already.

I just heard on the news that he has retained an attorney.

Well at least this one knew enough to keep it 'in his pants'.
Was just too dumb to know he can't take a picture of it 'in his pants' and plaster it all over the net!

The news carried a story that some of the Democrats that will be running against Weiner for the Mayor of NYC are doing their own investigation and trying to make him look as bad as they can so he won't be elected.

Ask yourself, is this acceptable behavior from a US congressman? Does he put himself in a position to be blackmailed by foreign governments over his indiscretions? The voters in his NYC district probably don't see what the big deal is, and they think this is all fun and games but here is a man ripe to be compromised.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

This IS funny!

It's like listening in on 3rd graders telling Weiner jokes!

philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

I don't think it is funny at all. Like when Lee did something similar. When a member of congress acts out and becomes blackmailable, our nation's security is at risk.

The jokes on the DEM hypocrites. Weiner is the most abusive, arrogant, holier than thou idiot in Congress. But BOX and fellow DEMS will agree with his insane defenses only to protect a precious minority seat. Forget about asking him to do the right thing. He says he was hacked but will not report it to the FBI. Weiner is and has been a joke in Washington for a long time. He must go now.

He must go now.

But the only reason that he won't is because he's a Democrat.  Any Republican who was anywhere close would have already stepped down (see Chris Lee).  The Democrats getting caught in this spot won't (see Bill Clinton).

I'm not saying either is right, but it appears there's a higher standard for the Republican Party.
