If Ron Paul were to run against Romney and Obama it would split the vote and Obama would win.

This is exactly what the two party system wants folks to think!! Perot got Clinton elected too. But we have to stop looking backwards, start thinking out of the box and moving forward in a new direction separate from the failed, corrupt 2 party system.

Remember........voting for the 'lesser of two evils'.....is still voting for 'evil'!!

Maybe but when has picking the lesser of 2 evils ever worked for us? If the GOP doesn't wise up soon they don't deserve to win just like the last election, I laughed my a** of when Obama won even though I knew he would be another screw up. Romney has chosen to skip Iowa to campaign also, this move might cost him dearly with the Ames straw poll coming up.

Sort of like when many people went third party and voted for H. Ross Perot.  Due to this issue, we eventually learned what the definition of "is" is.

Actually many Paul supporters were shocked about this, Savage has been known for bashing Paul and refusing to take Paul supporters telephone calls. However recently Savage has been changing his tune on Paul and has given him credit on a few issues. Votes are one thing but spreading our message is very important to us also, getting him on Savage which gets 10,000,000 listeners is a win win.

Savage doesn't agree with Paul's foreign policy and position on middle east involvement.  Savage believes America must defend Israel militarily, and Ron Paul doesn't take a hawkish enough position on that issue.

The Reps couldn't have picked a worse candidate in the last election. If they do it again this election they will lose again. I would rather see the Rep party select Paul for their choice than to force him to run as an independent and weaken both candidates. We need change in this system but not the kind that Obama has given us.

OK... just supposin'... Suppose Paul does win the Republican nomination.  Will he win resoundingly??? Or will he win due to a split, fractured, everyone for himself, convention. Abraham Lincoln won the nomination by a brokered convention that was forced upon the delegates, not because he was the choice of the party.

If Paul is forced upon the base of the Republican Party, they will hold back their dollars and do the least possible for Paul.
The TeaBaggers will throw rocks at Paul and since they are a self destructive mob, will give the election to Obama rather than vote for anyone who isn't a Pure Enough Tea Terrorist.
The Ultra Conservatives will split for Paul... some supporting him because of issues, some rejecting him for the same reason. Many labeling him a RINO as they did McCain.

The American people will look at Paul if he runs as the GOP nominee, and they may vote for him, but the Republican Organization, the Republican dollars and the Republican campaign staff, will pledge support, then treat him like a leper.

For some voters, an endorsement by the tea party will be a plus, for others it's akin to being endorsed by crazies.

The term "tea party" doesn't really describe the group as a whole.  Some local tea parties are nothing more than a front for the John Birch Society... a handful of 'believers' who try to represent themselves as a 'movement'.
Other are an organization with a real following and represent a political force.

The recent disaster of Carl Paladino who was strongly backed by the tea party, shows that tea party support, didn't translate into votes.

It was a choice between Lazio and Paladino, neither were beating Cuomo in the darkest of blue New York.  What Paladino did was shake up the New York Rockefeller Republican establishment.

If this board fairly represented the Voters of America, I think Ron Paul would win in a historic landslide!
BUT
For what ever reason, this board doesn't exactly present a broad profile of American voters.

I've only been posting here a short time, but Paul seems to be the only candidate discussed, or at least the only one discussed with any enthusiasm.
~  Was it always this way?
~  Is there something in the Rotterdam water that promotes this behavior?
~ Is it the daily dose of 'Paul Productions Videos' with, complete with subliminal messages to vote for Paul?
~  Do you offer free coffee and donuts if you sign on this board as a Paul Promoter??? (I DIDN'T GET ANY COFFEE & DONUTS!  I'd switch for a coffee & donuts!    )

Wait... something's wrong with my computer...
It's acting strange...

Box... Stare at the image below...
Just keep looking at the center of the image...
You're becoming sleepy...
You hate Big Govt...
You see a hero in the center of the image... blurry at first, but clearer... who is it... looks like... YES it IS!
I Want To Vote For Dr Ron Paul!!!!

Yes...much like the way Demokratz were running for cover from Obama "endorsements" last year....the difference is that alienating
Obama did them no good while the Tea Party candidates took back the House in an unprecedented turn around.

You should know all about "front" groups"...your like minded socialists have created all sorts of them....the "ACORN Party" aka
Working Families Party is an arm of the Demokratz....the George Soros funded "Move On" is another...and the latest is Agenda
21...a UN effort to duplicate the grassroots efforts that have proven to be the key to effectiveness.

The difference is that your groups advocate 'global' communism....the others advocate for AMERICA's best interests. And as usual,
you liberals never have anything credible or of substance to say on your behalf so you resort to the usual blame game and name
calling. Liberals are so damn predictable.

Ron paul was an interest to me in the last election but thought he didn't have a chance in hell. And obviously he didn't. Since then I have read his books/videos and tried to become as informed as I could with what was available. I may disagree with a couple issues but I see him as a 'vote for the greater good'.

I also try to gather as much info as I can about the other candidates. That is not as difficult since the 24/7 media outlets cover them on a daily basis.

I will vote for Ron Paul!
