RP.  Ron Paul got screwed by the GOP but his treatment is nothing new.  Republican leaders are chosen from the top down... never from
the bottom up.  THEY decide what's good for the party and THEY decide what is good for the country.  John McCain got similar treatment,
but had no army of RP groupies to back him up.

DEMs do it too....only they all sit around passing the bong to keep it a little more civil and PC....wouldn't want to offend

Meet Rebecca Christenbury. At 91 years old, Rebecca is the oldest delegate to the entire 2012 Republican National Convention. She is a survivor of Pearl Harbor. She has supported Ron Paul for 30 years, and finally met him on Sunday evening after his “We are the Future” rally. She asked him to run again in 2016. She told him, ‘you’re not too old, take my word for it!’

Here is a link to photos of Rebecca in Tampa, FL:  https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.192373360896630.47319.163929423741024&type=3

Walking toward the convention center, Rebecca ran into some friendly Ron Paul supporters who asked to do a quick interview. I thought it was very cool because Rebecca said that the one thing she forgot to tell Ron Paul when she met him was that she had been a supporter for 30 year, and a few minutes later she was presented with the opportunity to speak to the camera with what she forgot to tell him. Perhaps the video will make its way back around to him, so that she will have been able to let him know, after all!  By the way, the reason we were rushing from the interview is, this was the day that the buses detained the delegates from many states, and some buses simply never showed, so we were extremely late and rushing to get to the convention center. Here is one of the livestreams from her interview with RP folks:

http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/25022011

Fox News said this about her: “91-year-old Rebecca Christenbury is a Pearl Harbor survivor and attended her first-ever national political convention. “Life happens,” she explained as to why it took her so long. She gives good reviews to Tampa as host though would have preferred Ron Paul as the GOP nominee.”

Wow it appears Romney kicked the Maine Paul delegates out the door and minimized all other elements of the Paul campaign. I have to say I'm disappointed in Paul for being to Naive/lazy to realize this would happen. It appears his whole campaign was a waste. The republicans picked the big government candidate and have successfully quieted the little distension their was. Good for Mitt, bad for America.

Rand Paul learns that the GOP had BigGovt under GWB, and he's totally surprised to learn on live television,
that Obama has SMALLER GOVT. (How embarrassing for Paul)

A Democrat who has smaller Govt... HOW CAN THIS BE TRUE!  Impossible!
(That's what happens when you believe the propaganda instead of the FACTS)

The point of posting the video was that Rand Paul actually believed the Right Wing Propaganda... A US
Senator, who has to learn about big government from a talk show host!
Paul who is a professional politician should at least know what he's complaining about before hitting the
airwaves.

Rand Paul (with a puzzled look on his face) asks:
"are you arguing that there were fewer government employees under Obama than there were under Bush???

LMAO! This guy is a US Senator!!!

YUP!  Obama was a US Senator... now he is President... (for the next 4 1/2 years)
You'd think a US Senator like Paul would brush up on his FACTS before embarrassing himself on National TV.
Poor Rand... he believed the Conservative propaganda and actually thought he was right!!!
Did ya see the look on his face when the panel told him the truth about Obama having a "smaller govt" than
GWB?
He was totally scammed by the GOP!
