The bottom line is, a vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Obama.  He CANT win the nomination or presidency in 2012, period.

So go vote for Romney, I'll still write in Paul or vote for Johnson, at least they actually have conservative views

Congratulations on helping re-elect Obama then, just the way that Billy (2nd term) and Barry (1st term) won the elections.

Romney doesn't need my help in losing, his record as a big government politician did that for him. As a conservative I couldn't cast a vote for him, he stands pretty much against everything I believe in.

Same here Henry, I could never vote for Romney.
Voting for the person who you believe in is NEVER a wasted vote.

Been getting mailings from the RNC and Romney, the RNC asking for donations for Romney, they are NOT supposed to help his campaign in any way until he is the actual nominee.

The RNC is crooked as hell.

Starting tomorrow, Sunshine State News will be publishing articles on the Ron Paul festivities preceding next week's Republican National Convention. We will have a full-time correspondent on the ground, bringing our readers firsthand coverage of both Ron Paul Festival 2012 (Friday and Saturday, Florida State Fairgrounds, Tampa) and Dr. Paul's official pre-Convention Rally (Sunday, USF Sun Dome, Tampa). Love Ron Paul, or hate him, the libertarian wing of the Republican Party and the nation's center-right political field is not going away anytime soon, and will be a force to be reckoned with for election cycles to come.

Catch the first installment in this special series tomorrow morning, only at Sunshine State News!

AGREED!! My vote DOES count. And I will vote my conscience. Win or lose.....I will be able to look myself in the  mirror everyday knowing that I voted MY conscience. I will NOT vote for obama or romney who stand for everything I'm against. Romeny or obama = the same. So let the cards fall where they may. But as for me....I will not be swayed by the corrupt, false two party system, lead by the lame stream media!!

That's what matters, being able to go to sleep at night knowing you did the right thing and stuck by your beliefs.

I have voted for a candidate who I thought was the right man for the job, even though I knew he didn't have a
prayer of winning.
I've also voted for a candidate who was the lesser of two evils instead of the best man for the job, but I knew
that he had a chance of winning.

Voting for a Ron Paul type candidate sends a message, even if the message is minuscule.   If a vote for Paul
is a vote for Obama, then I guess it depends on how much you dislike Obama compared to Romney.  If you
view both of them as equally bad, then a vote for Paul makes more sense.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.
