Littll eal perhaps ur not paying attn...sounds like there is no slate of candidates.

I know there's at least one...Brian...I believe he's running regardless of party endorsement. You can't let opportunity pass you by - waiting for the Rotterdam Republicans to get their house in order.  It's nice supporting a candidate that you don't have to wait for the behind closed door party incest to play out in order to find out who is running.

Lace up your boots, and lets start the ground game!

you mean tracey was defending gerards actions, isnt that what you really meant?  (primary, attacking amedore)

heard he stabbed her in the back, by telling people not to go to her reagan day dinner

Well here is a twist for ya.......When was that REAGAN day dinner....uh.....about 2 weeks ago? (what did TD have a sudden epiphany?)
And are you implying that up until 2 weeks ago, tracy was walking in lock stem with GP?
That the rotterdam chair helped GP(R) primary and campaign against amedore(R) to help AS(D) campaign?

Sooooooo......TD hosts a REAGAN dinner, while at the same time breaking Pres. Reagan's 11th commandment by backing GP in his quest to overtake another fellow republican........Eleventh Commandment: Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.

And now you are implying that TD is pi$$ed at GP for not showing up at the REAGAN dinner and encouraging others to do the same?

You have a lot of 'splainin' to do ms TD?

This is just toooooooooooooooooooooo funny!!

The rep party is in a shambles. Who is the party chair really.  It will take you people another four years to have any kind of a shot.

I was expecting a full REP endorsement from the "cat"-lol. Don't underestimate the Savage effect on the County Legislature races. The DEM chair actually thinks he will win every races giving him a 15-0 Legislature. The REPS will pick up seats in all  Districts. Look for Savage's old seat for the first to flip to REP. They knew her best.

I just saw someone at the donut shop who thinks john mertz is a complete egomaniac psychotic moron!  Must be true i heard it at the donut shop!  Thats also where i heard amedore went to college at bible school?

I heard the same thing!  That explains why he and Joe Surada are planning to primary for county leg.

Also, I thought the no tax party was all Mertz, you know the whole sour grapes thing?  I guess it was Guiderelli, or maybe it was the Easter Bunny.

That would be an all time Rotterdam shocker!  Mertz takes out all of Parisi's candidates and somehow they end up back on the same team?  I say impossible.  Rotterdam needs fresh faces and people who can put their differences into perspective, I don't believe either of these two can do that.

One other thing, I would think if anyone had the pull to get Mertz back into politics, it would have been someone like Buchanan.  Parisi couldn't pull that off in a million years.

John Mertz would be a welcome addition to any REP slate. Word at the Bagel Shop is that he is not interested. No more free passes can be issued. Make them fight to retain every seat. After the past two years everything has changed.

Together, Parisi and Mertz were once part of a formidable force.  The last Rep administration
served the residents of Rotterdam well until the rift that developed between these power
brokers destroyed them and yielded to the dysfunction that we have in Town Hall today.

I, for one, hope that they DO put it back together.  Will the egos of some stand in the way?

It was never JM and GP. It was always ST and JM. It was when GP entered the picture that the problems started in rotterdam.

How did GP start the problem?  Are you suggesting that GP cost ST his office?

I have to say that this story line is hard to follow.
