At least in the rotterdam rep party, GP appears to be the only problem. The rotterdam democons have a list of 'em. imo

He's like a bad penny. Hopefully, FDG will run again on his very own pool party. Who's advising him today? DEMS have plenty of real problems. How many seriously want a second term for FDG and his "revitalize" Rotterdam crew?

All I'm saying is that the democons will be hard pressed to sell rotterdamians another slate since this last one was a complete and total disaster of historic proportions!!! I'm sure all rotterdamians can agree with that. And now they are selling the same.....just in a different package.

Schenectady county folks are tired of the democon's tax and spend and false illusions of grander. The schenectady folks are living the fall out of the democon's rule. And they ain't happy!!

Nobody cares where Signore went.  I personally spoke with Mertz at the LL Opening Day and he refused to talk politics/town business and said he is retired and has no interest in politics at all.  Also asked him what he thought of GP and he said he had no issue with any of the guys then changed the conversation.  As far as Giuderelli, guy doesn't attack his own part, so he's heads and shoulders above the likes of GP.  Amedore has class, something GP lacks.

I recently talked with Signore he is also retired from politics and didn't mention switching parties. The smoke screen from the pitiful leadership of FDG/town DEMS has lifted. 3 people give a hoot about party notice. The same clueless crowd that pushed FDG is pushing HB. Amedore is a class act and so is Brian. A real gentleman and a total break from past failures.

The democons have dug a HUGE hole for themselves and they know it. It's funny to see the demsocons who endorsed, supported, rallied around and tried to sell rotterdamians an old man, who didn't want to run for office.....back peddle and eat him up and toss him out like a piece of crap.

Now they have repeated history and will endorse yet another who admittedly stated that he did not seek a run for office. And they will try to replace ND, who ran to lower 'her' taxes with another personally motivated candidate...MV. The one who proposes giving tax breaks to folks with in-law apts (which these apts are all over rotterdam) and let the rest of the town shoulder the bill. Gee....does MV have an in-law apt in rotterdam?
And how 'bout WC voting YES on something he admitted he knows nothing about?

At least in the rotterdam rep party, GP appears to be the only problem. The rotterdam democons have a list of 'em. imo

Personally, I like Nicki DiLeva and think she should have run for reelection to the Town Board .. but she did not send a letter of interest to the Screening Committee and has decided to run for a different office.

As for Mr. DelGallo, I think he is a nice guy personally .. but I can not support him for reelection because of the way he mistreated the 4 town employees, the way he fired Diane Marco and because of the underhanded way he has disrespected the hard-working volunteers who make up the Parks and Recreation Commission.   BTW -- since you say you support Ms. Dileva and Mr. DelGallo .. did you ever hear the language he has used regarding Ms. Dileva???????    Any manager in the private or public sector usin that kind of language about a female co-worker would have been fired.

Mike Viscusci is a good man and a good candidate ..  I'd have to see a specific proposal about tax breaks for in-law apartments before I would make any comment about them.

Wayne Calder is level-headed and fair .. he has been a great addition to the town board.

I make my decisions based on my personal contact and conversations with the individual .. not on the recommendations of anyone else.

Obviously, the GOP is so desperate for a candidate that they had to endorse McGarry ... because if you had vetted him .. you would realize that the guy is not town supervisor material .. maybe town board .. but knowing his views on issues-- I wouldn't feel comfortable even appointing him to a a commission or a committee of the town.

He was fair -- he listened and reviewed the information from both sides .. and made a decision.  I would not have voted the same way .. but I respect his decision because he did do his "due diligence" and gave his vote a great deal of thought.

Hitler gave his views a great deal of thought, so did bin laden....doesn't mean their decisions should be respected....I am NOT equating calder to those evildoers just pointing out great deal of thought doesnt mean the decision was a good 1
