So are they supposed to send committee meeting announcements as certified letters with a return reciept card?

I read the papers and based on my reading GP tried to get the records from the chair and the secretary and because they DID NOT RESPOND he filed the lawsuit because it was the last day to file it...Was he supposed to let them not respond, wait until the statute of limitations expired and for them to not aknowledge the fact that rules were broken?

Did GP send a letter to the Chair formally requesting to reschedule the committee meeting?  He does claim he received the letter 3 day before the meeting.  I would think that's plenty of time to make a request for a new date.

wouldnt that have been a novel idea.  a lawyer offering constructive advice to the chair.  If his only concern was procedure why didnt call or email traceyand say hey you may have a problem with meeting notification, you may want to reschedule the meeting, in order to protect the integrity of the/his committee?

thats why this is all bullsh!t - and those supporting this saying that GP is some seeker of truth and justice are so full of it

You don't have a clue if anyone here is a judge or not!

And since GP aired his dirty laundry in the media.........it is now in the hands of the 'court of public opinion'.

So live with it!

I don't care if it was proper.  I don't belong to a political party.  That's inner party bs as far as I'm concerned.  I'm just providing commentary based on the info I am hearing.  A former Chair filing a article 78 against the current Chair is comical and just another public display of GP's super ego, playing this out in the media so he can  say I told you so, and all of his little minions like FS can run around saying how smart he is and everybody else is just stupid in comparison.  I support Brian M, regardless how this plays out, and Brian has vowed to get on the ballot with or without the party, and has an army of people willing to carry petitions and his message to get Rotterdam back on track and out of the gutter politics of thievery, bribery, and political patronage.

Its all inside baseball that is an embarrassment not the the current REP chair but the former chair. Especially after the town Assembly vote. No problem with procedure there? lol.  Even if what he alleged is true-so what? They will vote again with the exact same results.

That's why they are trying to walk it back. Too late-they stepped in it. Everyone is running from them.  They never cared about any by laws in the past. Now they are sticklers about process?
