Isn't this what the 'special secretary' was suppose to do?

So the taxpayers are spending $2,000 to hopefully receive how much???

PRIVILEGE OF FLOOR FOR AGENDA ITEMS

Kelly 131.11 this is the ems contract
There was an item was a resolution to authorize the supervisor -  mr. Calder made a to table this resolution at the last meeting
Why are we doing that ??we know REMS is bidding and we have 9 complaints filed with the attorney general on REMS  -
The key of the contract is who is the first to respond
We should not consider a contract with a contractor with a troubled past
I would suggest the resolution on the composition of the EMS Board include persons who are not part of town fire depts. And REMS

FDG
REMS has been doing the job for several years
As far as the money you cant push the state – they work at their own pase
Everything is working - it has to go out for bid because of the cost

Kelly
whoever is awarded will be the sole provider
You had proposed an audit of your own
And we should be as quick as possible on this subject

Godlewski - no personal attacks please

Kelly
Without an audit how can money be traced

Fdg -We assumed, we have no proof that REMS is guilty
Right now we are trying to get a bid to collect the ALS money

Ron –Severson -  We should avoid using words like pilfered or retained - this is inappropriate

Ms. Nelson       res 137 – I reside on a property that borders this property and I urge you to vote no

Mr. Simon – res 137  - this issue has come up at least 3 times in the pas and each time this zoning change was voted down,  we had no formal notification of the resolution

I thought that we had someone that was brought onto the staff already (maybe it was the Supervisor's confidential secretary) who was hired because they were going to be the one and only person that we needed to do all of our grant writing.  Why are we now hiring someone out for specific grants?

Thank you Tippy for the notes.

The ems contract is shaping up to be another scam. FDG literally said that we should wait for the AG investigation to be completed and guilt is
determined...no, I'm not kidding!

What FDG does not understand is that the AG is not investigating whether REMS took the cash...we already know they did BY THEIR OWN ADMISSION,
Mr. Supervisor. The AG is investigating the illegal process that fostered this rip off. To think that any member of this Board would even consider REMS
for an ems contract IMO is a gross violation of the public trust. This is an organization that admits to illegally collecting and retaining hundreds of
thousands of dollars that belongs to the Town...with no stated intention of reimbursing the Town. And now they are considering placing REMS in a
position to access all that money again? I would ask FDG...if you found out that an accountant you hired to keep your books at your business had
admitted to taking a half million dollars of YOURS...regardless of what they claim to have done with it...would you hire that accountant again???? I'm
betting he wouldn't...and he has no business imposing the same on taxpayers. I'm also hearing that BG, once a fierce proponent of private ems, is
now being bought by the TJ Hooker pro-REMS crew...which explains FDG's shift while he has been calling for an audit of the ALS funds then turns around
and tries to defend them...telling us they have been "servicing the Town for years". How ridiculous...REMS didn't even exist until just a few years ago,
and until they started their tax scam campaign again as the newly merged REMS, they dropped more than half of their calls....while collecting one
bailout after another...stealing ALS funds along the way.
