Just don't agree with you. Again I say, JD did a fine job but it's over. He wants in because he wants to run for TC--give it up already. This was the rumor two years ago. Everyone knew it would be showdown between JD and DM.
AlleyKat--JD did do the job while he was there. So did DM. You are right--all knew this would be the end result when FDG won the election.
Hawk--if you think for a minute that Buchanan hasn't run down your party-you live on another planet. Even Mertz would be a better Rep leader and that takes a lot for me to say. But wayyy back when Mertz went on the Ethics board, I thought him to be just that--ethical. A lot of people had a lot of hope where he was concerned when it came to the ethics board. I think he still might do what was better for the greater good of your party.
So far the only politician to leave the job with any grace and dignity has been Joe Suhrada. Maybe the party should turn to him and get some consultation on what to do or atleast what NOT to do.
