You are right AND wrong. There are some rotterdam seniors who want DM but there are also seniors who don't. There are also some rotterdam seniors who really do prefer JD.
Again.......the rotterdam senior center is a total waste of taxpayer's money. What is this brass rail? A little diner? There are 2 right across the street. The seniors can eat there, help the economy in their town and save the taxpayer's money. It will be a lose/lose situation whether DM or JD run the center. JS and JP are the only seniors that spoke on her behalf not one senior or resident got up in her defense they could give a sh!t about her. The only one she has attended to is herself. JS never wanted John to leave in the first place. At the senior meeting not one person stood up for her the other night they are sick of her crying get over it ! What did she do? so she did some cleaning big deal and for her other job when did she have time she was to busy at SC causing problems with all her rules rules rules. The Seniors do not want JD he already was able to take the old lady for her house and her $750K and the $20k in the envelope. It is pretty bad after 2 times being turned down from the TB JD still is trying to get the job? Doesn't that make you wonder what senior he wants to get money from now??

One can enjoy her boyfriend JO and he can do whatever he wants also because he is another friend of FDG. They all are FDG friends and they do not have to work at all they just suck up the Tax Payers money and we wonder why taxes keep going up. Senders Alley is correct. You don't seem to understrand what is involved here or what is at stake. It isn't babysitting. It is unfortunate to hear that FDG would even consider JD. There is obviously something else going on here. Marco was fine in the job. Sad to think FDG would play with the lives of seniors. Just ran into a prominent senior in Town who said they are worried FDG will close the center down.
Then if it is more than "babysitting" (I dont like that term) then we become a county home of sorts.....so which is it? and as far as I can see it's also SEGREGATION...which is wrong on so many levels....it's like pigeonholeing the elders away from the town....why? so folks can have a 'badge' to say I did this and I made this program for the poor poor elderly???? honestly I work in a nursing home and the lack of elder mixing in everyday society is telling....we need a community center for the whole town where ALL ages rub elbows and the sight of getting older is in the forefront of everyone's mind....it comes on us and it comes on us quick.....
