Rotterdam's Highway guys have always kicked everyone else's a$$. Schenectady is terrible. Aalbany streets were pretty bad as well.

Agreed, the Town of Rotterdam Highway Department has done an awesome job all winter. At least they're making good use of the ridiculous taxes I pay. |

Any good manager knows, your department should be able to function without direct 24/7 supervision of the manager. If he his crew is trained and ready to handle a 12" snow storm while he's in "the islands", then he should never lose his job. |

Check your bill and read the part that says "Federal and State Mandate" charge and THAT is your COUNTY tax dollars at work. You will see you pay far more to the county (300million PLUS budget) than you do the town. |

My boss is on vacation too. And this is our busy time at work. But we all know our jobs and do it well. Or perhaps you are just trying to make this another rotterdam mud slinging political matter....perhaps? Let it go spidy.
