Once again the fat bastard severson cares more about what FDG and BG did to HIM and his PARTY.. than what they are doing to us the taxpayers... And Ron still sees no problem with that stupid old hag stealing 55k a year to not show up to work. Ron...for all the good eunie supposedly did, she is now a worthless old hag who is screwing the taxpayers she supposedly loved...seems like politics as usual...Ron stop caring about yourself and care about us. Put down the DORITOS and do something!!!!

not kidding - it's in zoning code.  the law is there for the protection for the surrounding property owners.  keeps you from having a shopping mall next to your swimming pool and vegetable garden!!!!

Agreed.   That's what the folks down in the Stockade are faced with in regard to the Gillette House bagel shop.   Was bought supposedly with intent of office use.   That failed.   Now a variance was received citing a hardship.   But at time of said purchase it was known not zoned for bagels.   Hence a self-created hardship.

And people wonder why residents get up in arms the minute they hear the word 'development'. Just drive around rotterdam and anyone can see how it was the developers that were 'allowed' by the 'friends and family club' to build in areas that were either environmentally not friendly or was a quality of life issue.  The 'friends and family club' try to sell it to the electorate as a 'tax base'. To that I say bullcrap!!! Taxes are sky high!

The city is no different....actually worse! There are businesses that the taxpayers relocated and built that pay little or no taxes. However, rotterdam is beginning to look and act just like the city! And yes, The Gillette House is a prime example of 'bending the codes' for the 'chosen few'.

Appts
Zoning
Racetracks
Comp plan

It all needs to end
Let's hope the next 6 years will bring real change

Most here woukd have change come frome the outside
But real change must come from within

Del Galloville - a slumville by most accounts must come to an end

Can't wait for jan 1, 2012

And the three musketeers are the same horse.....only of a different color!!

None of them are worth a vote. The rotterdam three musketeers and the dynamic duo are in a pissing match. It appears that they are acting, in what some are fooled into thinking, is in the best interest of the rotterdam taxpayers, when all they are ALL really doing is campaigning for the next election.

They ALL need to go!!
Rotterdam needs new faces, new names and a new vision!!!

You could say the same thing about Tommasoneville, but the names were just changed to protect the guilty. The fact is there's not much of a change between the main players in this administration from what we had in the last.  This is part of the reason that the former administration lost it's seats.

So what is the outcome of last week's vote on rezoning 1066 Curry Road?   The vote was 3 -yes; 2 - no.   The petition required a supermajority to pass this rezone.   What was the "conditionally passed" statement that FDG made?  It seems as though this is a no-brainer....they didn't have 4 votes to pass it.

Anybody know the status?

that is Top Secret

cant even FOIL it due to legal stuff

only the foundation will know

sounds like a great time for the neighboors to start an automotive engine tuning business, a motorcycle header design business, or a sulfer gas leak detection research and development business

my understanding is as long as there is only one employee home business' are Free Game

empty appts might get thru to Mr Delorenzo
