For those who live outside the city of Sch'dy what charges are listed on your time warner bill under "taxes and fee's " ?  Ex. Franchise fee and what else.

Rotterdam:
FCC Mandated Fee - $0.07
State/local Franchise Fee $5.55

Please advise what they are for city residents.

FCC Mandated Fee 7 cents
State local franchise fee $2.79
PEG  Access fee 52 cents

I guess the state fee depends on what services provided ex. phone and cable or cable and internet etc?

Just talked to my stepdad in Albany he pays over $12.00 in taxes and fees.

The fees stated above are for Rotterdam....high def cable with DVR + one premium channel.   No telephone or internet services whatsoever.

I read the book The World is Flat....and right now the $$ grab is for infrastructure and line replacement for optic cable....but we all know  what??--

I looked at the 2009 audit.....do they audit EVERYTHING...EVERY DIME, NICKEL AND PENNY???

I dont see the franchise revenue not to mention there's a whole bunch of numbers that dont match the town budget from 2009???

The lingo is very interesting to read....I'll have to study some.....I hate small writing and long numbers....
