As a resident of Rotterdam for over 20 years it's time for a clean flush of politics as usual.

I don't know the players. Don't know the backstory as to what makes them tick. Honestly don't care.

Reading articles in the newspaper about adult bickering on a regular basis is very old by now and embarrassing. As a public servant if you haven't made objective progress each and every day of your elected tenure then you have failed the people of your community. Plain and simple!

Let this serve as a recent example, because a politician, Democrat or Republican, can dig a hole and fill it with water, et al., does not mean he/she is a qualified leader or public servant.

It's time for this leadership and their collective bravado to leave. His bank account will not factor into the next election. Contrary to his belief there are other rich people in Rotterdam (living much less ostentatiously) with discretionary spending that want change.

Couldn't agree more with the power of the ballot box theory!
Regretfully, removing money from political process is just not a realistic option.
Be grateful tho there are people out there willing to invest, FOR THE RIGHT REASONS, in propelling Rotterdam forward.

I hear there are some interesting possiblities  in the works

throw out some ideas thet would help "blanks" make a proper decision

i say ask hard pointed questions

remember rotterdam is a 50/50 town - so make your choices very carefully

the party process limits true individuals

somewhere on this board is a thread about getting on a ballot  ie the number of signatures

we dont need a senior center it is in declining use....

infrastructure long before parks(unless privately donated without ANY government $ from ANY level)

strict code of color/style/patina for MFRH or any developement

sidewalks

forget about the bullies...toss 'em out,,,,they are NOT more important than the rest of the town...I dont care what your unions say....

why cant the seniors use the firehouses around the town? a moving card party...they are fancy buildings big too

typist at senior center....$37,000/year

5 park attendants at $200,000/year?????

senior planner at $61,000/year????

retirement funds doubled in 2years $431,000-$830,000......WTF!!! It's not my job to make sure you have a retirement....IT'S YOURS!!!!!
