Yeah and that was the end of his ronnie court house.  Look he is very likable and charms the seniors.  Couldn't be further from the truth. He could care less. The difference in my opinion between Riitano and the others was more than hereducation and experience. She did the job as a ministry. That's why she logged so many hours at the center. She was there all the time. Even after supper would return. She was there on thanksgiving morning making calls to people who were alone or I'll. Cicero your negative comments do you and st administration a bigger disservice than your smear campaign against her. U guys r just feeling guilty because you acted like little vengeful babies.

who cares who did what.....if DR feels she did a great job then leave it....if she thought it more a ministry OK....that's her personal choice and it will
stand and her reward is in heaven.....but to carry on with the bigger picture of Rotterdam and it's direction....the senior center needs to be re-looked
at....along with a CRAP load of other stuff in this town.....the comp plan needs to be enforced...we need a walkable town before those asking for spot
zone changes 'F' up the entire town worse than it already is.....

we need patina/style/class and a COMP PLAN ENFORCER.....BIGGER PICTURE FOLKS.....let's get out of the schoolyard and into
adulthood....

I'm not ST or anybody associated with the ST Administration.  It isn't a smear campaign, it is what I heard from Seniors themselves.  My point is, it's ONLY a Senior Center.  WHO CARE WHO RUNS IT!  Just privatize the thing.

The Town of Rotterdam would probably benefit from a strict non-residency policy.  Meaning, you must NOT be a resident of Rotterdam in order to work for the Town of Rotterdam.

You are so full of crap and on  Sunday!  There is not ONE senior who would EVER have said that.  You made it up because you are a troll.  Throwing mud is what got you tossed out of office.  Your integrity is shot.  Just like the famous HV who tried to insinuate Riitano was taking the driving course on town hours to get the break on the insurance.
Egg on her face as well.  First Riitano went there because there were two complaints about the teacher and second and more importantly, Riitano wasn't even eligible for the break. Yes HV had so much egg on her face even Revlon couldn't remove it. Yeah you Reps did everything you could to get her out on some legit cause and finally had to just abolish the job and hand it over to Parks and Rec because you HAD NO CAUSE. ROTFLMAO

We all know who you are on this board. And just like spreading gossip, especially on Sunday, you are guilty as sin.

Good point. In rotterdam where everyone is defined by their politics......it should be volunteer only!! Whatever finances there are, they should be under the guidelines and handled by the super's secretary at town hall. The brass rail/food, should be shut down. Redwood is right across the street, along with Center Stage deli.

All volunteer or close it down.

That's a good one. Kinda like the City under Stratton? Every City position occupied by a nonresident.

The best is the police chief who the Gazetto calls; "a lifelong City resident who lives in Scotia". That's a line only the Gazetto could print. Tippy might be onto something. Reinstalling JD back is a good way to get him out of the way.

There is no town that has a volunteer senior center director because you need some brains to run that position. It's notlike the city school district where the teachers keep the seat warm. In NYC everyone who works with seniors have degrees in social work or related fields with experience.

If you need a degree in social work FDG should call the pathetic City School Board. They have more degrees than a thermometer only refuse to cut anything. Does Johnny Fontane have a degree in social work?

but you dont have to.....since when does a person need a degree to volunteer at a food pantry? or church? or anything of the like?

THAT'S WHY SENIORS SHOULDN'T BE SEGREGATED......they become podium pucks.....sh!t!!!! gotta make 'qualified job worker with
union benefits because they are the only ones who know what they are doing.' That's how we got to where we are today.....with the
shortsighted belief of "I can pay for that why should I do it?" and I know the response will probably be--"if we dont then no one
will do it."-----guess what, here's an 'F'EN' news flash, just because it's paid for doesn't mean it's top line and it doesn't mean it's the'
right thing to do...people have what they have because they have what they have....I am not your pillow and you are not mine....

COMMUNITY MEDIA CENTER FOR ALL AGES....keep it real life, not some podium puck specialty.....move on....get over it....close it....
