the thread should be  UNION BUSTING     NOPE

tell that to the kids who have to make concessions so others dont have to.....that's a lesson hopefully engrained in their minds
that's what you call a life lesson...and if they buy a home in that school district when they get older, they will continue to pay for
those non-consessions.....

no one is against unions(I personally would try really hard NOT to be in one) but the contract have expanded into others rights to have
fair representation.....see other thread or I can get it for you if you wish.....

PS....I dont care if private businesses have to deal with unions....

stop letting the publicly elected use the union issue for an excuse for not doing their jobs and covering the votex up so we cant see it.....

remove the public unions and we will have a MUCH clearer picture of our government and what the hell goes on.....they were given hush money all these
years,,,,for what????

There's a real big difference between a public union and a private union.

ahhhhh-YUP!!! one is on my back and the other one---is like me(only without a union)....I dont give a rats-a$$ if a private company
has a union, I hear enough stories to make my hair curl.......work line slow downs and crap like that...I dont care,,they made their
bed now they sleep in it.....as for the public sector unions we are all uncomfortable and have been for a long long long time regardless
of political parties....the unions are allowed to bully and push around and the politicos use them as a diversion all at the expense
of moving forward with clean slates and it gives no clear view on what really happens in our government,,,it's tossed around when no
one wants us to see anything else.....I say remove the diversion completely--we'll all be better off for it.....

Elections have consequences, that's why we now have that crappy health-care law.

The union is willing to negotiate and give in to paying more for their pension and benefits -- Governor Walker has dug in his heels and said "hell no" --- so it is clear that his REAL goal is to destroy the unions.   His mule-like stubbornness reminds me of two town leaders.    They forget what is best for the people that they serve -- they only want to carry out their  agenda of revenge.

As I've said all along, this issue isn't about a State Budget Crisis, it's about Union Busting.

It's democracy at work.  Elections have consequences.  And Walker in using the words of Obama 'I won'.

You are delusional.
Look how well union negotiations have worked out for NYS.

Elections have Consequences... Seem to mean one thing when the Right wins and another when the Left wins.

Just as the Right didn't accept the Health Care Reform, American Workers won't accept Gov Wilson's attack on Workers.  The end of this story is yet to be told.  With the Koch Brothers calling the shots in Wisconsin, the majority of America supports the Unions.

There is no Wisconsin Budget Crisis... Only Union Busting.

of course it's union busting if they wont evolve.....dont worry unions wont disappear they will always exist and their tasks masters
will always rule them.....however, currently we're trying to kill the 'Rosemarys baby' of guaranteed pensions/healthcare and other
golden parachutes, made from the unholy copulation of the union task masters and the politicos.....

the old man union is dying and it's time to pull the plug on the ventilator.....it must evolve into another energy form

Then why are the state senate Democrats not showing up to vote?  The Republicans showed up to vote NO on Obamacare even though they disagreed.  Then they ran to repeal Obamacare.  There is a democratic process, I would suggest the Wisconsin Democrats work within it, or THEY will be considered the party of NO SHOW.

Cicero,

As quoted  Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, saying after his attack on Pearl Harbor:
"I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve."

... So may Wisconsin's Gov Wilson have "awakened a sleeping giant of American Workers, united them, and filled them with a terrible resolve".
