I specifically left the reps out of the post knowing that someone would chime in to expose the other side.
And BINGO....it didn't take long. It supports the point that they are ALL dirty...both reps and dems and of course lets not leave out the copservatives.

Hence.........THE NNTP!!!!

Job well done! You just helped make the point!!!

However, historically, no party destroyed the corrupt sh!thole rotterdam like the good old dems! I'm sure we can all agree on that one...eh?

Apparently it was, one small snippet in the gazette from what I understand. I missed it therefore didn't get to bid...oh well I know we would have been low bid as we are right around the corner and I like doing business in this town maybe next time? (I've been saying that for 10 years now)

I will and we have done small stuff for the town before (ie the upgraded microphone that you all speak into when you talk at the meetings as well as resodering the connection to it)...just find it coincidental that a Della villa is one of the owners of the company that is getting the contract. Also that the bid request wasn't mentioned to as far as I know the only computer company left in town. You would figure they would want to keep the money in the town.

R’dam board does legal shuffle

William DeVoe 02/21/11

Liccardi mulling title change, will meet with board members

Rotterdam’s new deputy attorney looks strangely familiar.

Joseph Liccardi, who served as Rotterdam’s lone town attorney since Michael Godlewski’s departure to the county last October, has been named deputy attorney after the Town Board hired Albany law firm Daniels and Porco last Wednesday, Feb. 9.

The vote, in what has become an expected result at Rotterdam Town Board meetings, went down 3-2, with board members Nicola DiLeva, Matt Martin and Wayne Calder voting for the firm and Supervisor Frank Del Gallo Deputy Supervisor Robert Godlewski voting against. The price tag for Daniels and Porco’s services is $138,500 per year plus other fees.

Liccardi said at the meeting that he was troubled by what he called a demotion, and wanted to think about the arrangement before he considers staying with the town. The title change does not affect Liccardi’s salary, benefits or term of appointment.

“I’d like to discuss what it is I’ve done during the course of my duties to deserve this,” Liccardi said after the resolution was brought forward by DiLeva and seconded by Martin. “What displeasure I’ve caused these board members as to how I’ve conducted myself.”

The three who voted in favor had nothing bad to say about Liccardi’s performance, however.

“This is no way a reflection of you or your performance,” said Calder. “We just understand you need help.”

DelGallo made an unsuccessful motion to table the resolution, citing concern not only over the assignment of Liccardi as deputy, but also over the fact that he had not interviewed members of or seen a contract of services for the new law firm.

“Anyone who is uncomfortable with this can vote no,” said Calder.

DelGallo and Godlewski did, the latter citing a state comptroller’s audit of the town last year that suggested the town put professional service contracts of $50,000 or more out to competitive bid. Godlewski also stated the town is paying more now for legal services than it has in recent memory, and the price tag has the capacity to rise with unforeseen fees.

“Right now, the total budget for legal services is $203,000. The issue is this: Legislation costs are not covered in their contract,” he said. “I have a real big concern as to where we’re going to get those revenues.”

“What we’re basically doing, by adopting this resolution, is doubling our legal fees.”................>>>>....................>>>>...............http://www.spotlightnews.com/news/view_news.php?news_id=1298318521

Todd Koza-text supplied
on resolution 88.11 -    it would seem that this board is putting the WAGON before the horse as there is no position in the current CSEA contract
for the placement of this individual if you are sincere in the creation of this position approve a contract with the CSEA

in these tough times, and given the world events that could put our economy in a second recession,  if this increase in grade is an effort to give a raise
to an employee because they say they have found a job in the private sector that pays more money let them take it.  - public service is not for them

as for the MOA why bother this Administration does not respect MOA's in their own office.

on resolution 89.11 now we need two Project Coordinators?  there is no Resolution for Ms. Marco's Resignation.
I would expect there would be a resolution declaring her resignation

I would like to know where this town is going to find the cash to pay for the new position and unemployment benefits

i remember quite clearly  - -  that two weeks ago    ---   we were told there is a shortage of cash

Diane Marco- (author requests the document Ms. Marco read – email to admin)
thanking all the residents for putting their trust in her
Would like to address  - I was never informed that my job performance was poor
I called the Supervisor’s Office.
I was told the Supervisor did not have to supply a reason

“Mr. Supervisor, Except your responsibilities, Reflect on your words the day you took your Oath.”
I would like to remain in my position un till I meet with the board to discuss my Job Performance

Ron Severson - 84.11 this resolution is uncalled for - to say that Ms Marco has not preformed her duties is beyond pale
She was appointed by the entire Town Board not by you Mr Supervisor

Karen Malizinski - thank you for placing all the resolutions on the agenda – unlike the last meeting
On resolution 89.11  - Full or part,  Employee benefits, And what is the salary

John Polino - I swore I would never come to a town board meeting ever again
This lady deserves(Ms. Marco) an explanation
You chose to take women on
What about our infrastructure
Look at the people they don't want her to go
I will start a financial campaign to bring this trash to court

John Sheely - petition of 200 names saying we do not want changes made at the center
Don't change what ain’t broke
We want molly back too
And why after 14months this???
John supplies petition to supervisor

Judy longo - want to see 89.11 go thru he is the most understanding supervisor I have ever had
Light -clapping

John degorgio- 30 years parks and rec
I never called any board member to get rid of Ms. Marco
I was told Ms Marco was no longer going to be there
If there was an opening I am willing to fill it
We(Rotterdam) don't look to good to other communities

Nicki confirms - john degorgio - spoke to her about his concerns

No response from mr mahar about zoning issues
