C.C. for T.B.  . . .  Constructive Criticism for Town Board

          This thread is for bloggers to offer CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM to the Town Board as a whole, individual members, or one of the two "teams".  It can include procedural issues, personality, knowledge base, or any trait one may find that could/should be improved on.  Simply start the first post with number 1 and continue consecutively with other posts.  (Remember, be nice!)

1.  Make sure all Resolutions are printed for Agenda handouts.  These additions at the time of the T.B. meeting is bad government.

2. keep it to business not personal neighborly stuff.(I dont care who the elected know and they dont rise above the whole town)

3. follow what is already put before us legally.

4. dont let feelings get in the way.(that's why there are laws and the government is laws)

5. look to the future...because we have to

6. always update the website to the changes of new things....(everyday, and use the schools tech/media)

minutes approved by the following meeting
minutes posted on the town website within 24 hours of approval

btw we dont have to farm this out  - our past supervisors and current town agreed that a union position should do this work many years ago

post the digital videos of town meeting on the town website

10. dont fight over west vs east....(that is counter productive)

11. engage ALL....ALL the time

12. always teach when you speak (as a whole of course, but certainly as a supervisor). the masses find this more palatable and they can weigh out
the choices thereby weighing in more at meetings.

13. engage the planning commish.....make a plan and stick to it....comprehensive of course....patina/class/style....we are what others see us as.....

14. use all resources available and keep the conversation in the open.....there ain't nuthin' new under the sun.....honest.....
