The "town law firm" cost a lot more than Mr. Brick cost us for his legal services  --- and quite frankly --- a number of legal issues were fumbled by the "town law firm" and still linger --- and then GP has the nerve to blame everyone but himself for the problems.   He was the legal advisor and chief puppet master for the previous administration --- but he accepts no responsibility for the mistakes made by that team.

Yes ...and DVR...where did you get your legal degree????   Ive been waiting to hear all these things the town law firm "controlled" and fumbled.   With idiots like Mertz and gang do you really believe they were controlled by anyone.   You guys are really paranoid!!!

While I did not attend law school, I took a pre-law program in college and can read the law books and journals like any attorney can.
You can start with the first fumble -- the way Tomassone and Mertz handled the "walmart issue" and got sued  -- and lost.   I told both of them from day 1 that they were handling it all wrong -- Mertz blew a gasket and went into one of his "where is your law degree?" routines .. and then when the judge ruled  on the matter .. the judge made the same arguments that I had made months earlier.  
Mertz is a world-class butt hole .. he probably got his legal education from the back of a cracker jack's box  ..and unfortunately --- he never found a "personality" or common sense inside the box.

Walmart isnt here thank god....I call that a victory.   In addition, you have no idea what you are talking about so I wont bother to go further.

But Ill give you that Mertz is a nutjob

Actually --- the sad fact is that I - as a private citizen without a formal legal education - knew more about municipal law than the deputy town attorney and the town attorney during the past year.  I never charged for my research and advice during the past year.  

The new law firm is a step in the right direction.

Wow I thought you were a chief cheer leader for Mr Godlewski? Way to throw a respected member of the county attorney's office under the bus...you really sound like the type of guy who is disgruntled because he didnt get on the public dole now he is going to bash anyone on it....

Sounds like he's really a great supporter of his parties choices.  So much for standing up for those that the party endorses.

No -- It is because I know more about why he got moved from town hall to the county attorney's office.

I haven't received a dime for my service to the town and - as I have said before - if I ever run for and am elected to a town office  ... i would donate every penny back to the town for its parks and recreation programs.
