There have been a few dolan dr people who are also quesitoning this the way the fence is facing. It will be interesting to see what they do with the fence by that little house by the new intersection. I will say.......the thing is UGLY......necessary.....but UGLY none the less.

I disagree with the fact that it is necessary, as I don't agree that we need to constantly be moving Dunnsville Road.  I mean really, let's look at what Golub has done with that in the past years.  How long until they get rid of the road they're building now and make the actual entrance to the headquarters actually drive the trucks THROUGH Dolan Drive.  They'll just have to buy one or two more houses.  They've done it before and they'll do it again.

Just watch, next they'll want to annex the cemetery and use it as a parking lot.

At least Golub makes an effort to make nice things in town.....I wonder if FDG would help and add some buffalo and Indians around the fence.....????

isnt there a fence on new rt 7 and the nice side faces the highway and the ughly side faces the homes

fences in nyc area and hartford ct also do the same nice side faces the road

so when the fence is complete the nice side will face the new dunnsville rd

     Why should the Dolan Drive people, who will be severely impacted by the road relocation, be further aggrieved by having the columns and walers facing their residences??  Rather than defending a "bonehead" move, what could possibly have been the reason for this?  For accoustical walls that are in extreme traffic areas, (Long Island Expressway, etc.), thousands of vehicles pass by the barriers.  Maybe that makes sense, but not on Dunnsville Rd.!

live...Walmart does yet we let them.....
