Del Gallo does it his way

You can call Rotterdam Supervisor Frank Del Gallo lots of things, but, with the exception of his political affiliation, one thing you can’t call him is indecisive.
In just the last week, Del Gallo demonstrated on two occasions that once he’s made up his mind about something, there’s little to change his mind or to stop him. First, with only a few days’ warning and without consulting his colleagues on the Town Board, he changed the keys on the locks to the town’s fuel pumps so Rotterdam Emergency Medical Services Inc., which had purchased the town’s tax-free gas to fuel its ambulances for several years (saving roughly 55 cents per gallon), could no longer do so.
True, voters recently turned down a bid by REMS to create a taxing district that would have supported it indefinitely rather than having to rely on annual Town Board appropriations; but as long as REMS was paying its bills, there was no need to take such drastic action.
Next, Del Gallo decided to play musical chairs with four town clerical jobs, moving the workers around without consulting anyone on the Town Board or explaining why to the workers. Not surprisingly, they filed grievances, which could cost the town as much as $6,500 to defend. .................>>>>.................>>>>..............http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r00702&AppName=1

how about i(cubed) - as in lack of an IQ

I(to the first power) - iMBiFFiQUATiOUS   -   A word used to describe something or someone when no other word can be thought of
I(squared) - Inconceivable    - describes something that cannot be imagined by natural means
I(cubed) - Inert   -   like a rock right before it is thrown into a river,  just sitting there

when you do the math the end result is ID10T

warning

Oh come on here folks. Don't be so tough on FDG. I mean he did win the election, so the people apparently wanted him.

The way I see it, is that his problem is that he listens to BG. Who was also voted in by the people. As I look at these videos, it certainly  appears that BG is the chief adviser to the super. THAT is where the problem is. IMHO

I agree...I spoke with FDG right after being sworn in last year and the first thing I told him was that his success would depend
on who he surrounds himself with and who he listens to...and that if it is BG he will be doomed.

The dems saw an 'opportunity' in FDG.

He had name recognition.
He had the bankroll.
He came with puppet strings attached.

The dems should be ashamed of themselves for using FDG for their political and financial gain and FDG allowed it. IMHO of course.

Does FDG think that little of himself?  When will he stand up and act like a man instead of a puppet.

Hey Bumblethru how come you don't understand these things.  It is no different than when someone allows themself to be honored for an organization to  help raise money.  It's their way of helping out the organization.  FDG came forward and helped the Democrats.  Neil Golub does it all the time.  No bigger Republican than old Neil.

First of all......how much help did the dems really need?   Although they will now!
And last I knew, rotterdam wasn't a 'charitable organization'......no?

Second..........Neil is not rotterdam's town supervisor.

Here comes those oranges and apples again!

When you surround yourself with morons don't expect brilliant leadership?

Where's a similar attack on the worst Mayor in City history? Last I looked FDG did not make an illegal contract to defraud State taxpayers, get caught red handed by the media and then cook up a 10 point solution that he pocket vetoed. Then a fatal fire-well never mind. Next to pathetic Mayor SOS-Supervisor FDG sins seem very small potatoes.
