Looks like fdg was the only one who gave the rotterdamian taxpayers a REAL budget. He made the tough decisions and the 'connected' few went whining and the 'three stooges' came to their rescue! Sad day in rotterdam. The 'connected few' has been the downfall of rotterdam and why it is, after decades....still the laughing stock!!

NEW FACES, NEW NAMES!!!

Two of those stooges will be gone after the election and we only need to wait a couple more years for the third one to be gone!   And what a page in the history book this crew will create...or should I say the "joke book."

Typical for a politician, kick the can down the road and let someone else worry about the mess they created.

Saw the same thing last year..Budget is not done by DiLeve and Calder, Martin....travels to Fla where JP does
his math,,,,.goes to show you that the voters do not know the REAL story and who is behind it...
Now the Town will see who the dictator really is...and it won't be HB...they are riding on his coat-tails...and it will end up the same old way......used, abused, and individual decisions will be made and then you will see the chaos

FDG....was good for this town...and I keep saying the people bullying their way thru, will end up with the slogan

ROTTERDAM     WAS     A    NICE PLACE TO LIVE....BEFORE THE GENTLEMAN'S CLUB + ONE...

You lose 2 and gain two more...what's the difference...the people of this town don't know when to stop these
greedy egotisical candidates...puppets with the puppetmaster pulling the strings....who may that be?

their theme should be TRICK OR TREAT.

Since DVOR or GG have come back from wherever they were....they have come aggressive and spinning the
truth for the DEMS

FDG was very good to DVOR ...gave him Historian, Parks Committee......guess what....how ungrateful he
has become.   The Dems are using him to spin everything to their favor.   The Parks committee is a perfect
example.....the so called appointed volunteers are all cohorts of DM who also is on this committee....why does a volunteer have to be apointed and/or voted on to join?  The more the merrier....Why do personalities have to enter into this process.   The people on this committee are all a 'CLICK"...willing to do whatever is necessary to
keep certain volunteers off the committee...and naming those people they are against is not ethical.

DVOR ought to take up a new career and be respected for who he claims to be....GG too....maybe it would
be a good thing when they decide to go on another hiatis..and check their meds that are making them
both dilusional and so very aggressive without just cause.

And, how come DVOR has so much time when he is supposed to be doing his historian stuff....

Be thankful and not so selfish when talking about someone like FDG who helped you get a job and gave you
respect.....time to give it back...Sir....

Mr. DelGallo did NOT appoint me to the Parks and Recreation Commission -- I was appointed to the Commission by Steve Tommasone on the recommendation of Michael DellaVilla and became its Chairman in the Summer 2009.   The members of the Commission were all volunteers and MOST have served since the summer of 2009 --- any new members INCLUDING Ms. Marco were invited to the Commission by me.

As for the number of VOTING members, it is set at 9 members by the town board -- there are many more persons who volunteer to help out in our activities.

As for the appointment to the position of Town Historian -- it is NOT a full-time or even a part-time job  -- I carry out the duties by answering resident inquiries and acquiring items of historical value to the town.  It carries a $250 stipend.   The half that was paid to me in June 2011 was donated to the 1st Annual Rotterdam Summer Community Day.  The second half will either be donated to 2nd Annual Rotterdam Summer Community Day or to a similar community event to be scheduled in either late Winter or Spring.

It is clear that Patches is either Lisa Dufek or a friend of Lisa Dufek --- and all that needs to be said about that issue was said last year.  Suffice it to say that Lisa Dufek is a troublemaker and doesn't actually DO anything on ANY of the committees that I have worked with her on -- she cast the die last year when she failed to show up for the meeting when we were interviewing potential appointees to the committee.  We have accepted her presence as the "supervisor's designated representative" and have treated her with due respect when she had actually chosen to show up.

You are titally out of line in your allegations...of who I am and of whom I represent.

Thanks for the bio.

But it behooves me to say......when you approach any subject on any blog subject....don't assume you know
who  it is......it's just like everything you write....full of untruths, inuendoes, and aggression.

And, respect to your elders is the key ....and fellow citizens....

Cause guess what?     The Parks could be a thing of the past, when the funds are gone.....and who you name as the so called gem could get rid of you in a heartbeat....

Be vigilent to who you think you can trust..

Why did Dickershaid quit? Will you explain or will we get the typical democrap middle finger and F.U.?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Mr. Dickershaid bowed out from the Commission and from the Challenger League -- His successor as president of the Challenger League is now on the Commission as a representative of the league .. and will be proposed for a 3 year term as a regular member.

Mr. Dickershaid was always welcome and contributed much to our deliberations and work.  He is always welcome to attend our meetings and participate to whatever degree that he chooses.

The suggestion that appointments to the commission are politically or personally motivated are out an out lies.  The Democratic Party -- town committee as a whole or any members of the executive committee - has had NO involvement in any of the appointments to the commission EVER,   I have never asked any person seekingmembership what his or her party affiliation was and quite honestly don't care and don't have a clue how at least half of the commission is registered.

We heard that during the last election and look how that turned out, lets try something different this time and not vote for anyone with a D after their name.
