Jack Shiely will not be in trouble with the Democrats.  What makes you think that?  He was the head of the Demo committee.  The whole senior center debacle is quite humorous if you think about it.  Those folks can't catch a break.

Jack Shiely will not be in trouble.  Democrats - unlike Republicans - allow our members to think for themselves.
Many of us support what Jack stood up for at the Town Board meeting.

Really? How gracious of the Kratz to "allow" their members to think for themselves.

Republicans do not ask for permission...they just do it.

Mr. Farina got up to speak at the podium stating "that he was moved twice and didn't file any grievances"...

Someone needs to ask the question how many times Mr. Farina was insubordinate which is why he was
moved twice.  Mr. Farina no longer performs all of his duties at town hall ie:  emptying garbage cans...
because it takes him 2.5 hours to do it; however, the bathrooms are disgusting and the floors do not get
vacuumed daily unless the PART TIME custodian does it.

From what I am being told first hand Mr. Farina walks around town hall and reports the goings on of the
employees to the Supervisor.  If Mr. Farina does not have the time to do his own job, Mr. Farina should
not be allowed to walk around town hall and do nothing.

I saw his comment at the board meeting...i was like what the hell is he talking about. But now i get it!! >

Thats a laugh -- I saw how the Republicans tore apart Mr. Guidarelli when he chose to think for himself
on the Town Board.   The GOP and the far right demands that every one goosestep to the same drummer.

I am highly amused that there is an uproar about moving Molly--who is a doll.  I am more amused that her bird-brain husband would take to the podium and cry-baby. He was generally useless and pretty-underhanded as I recall. Let me remind you that when Riitano was at the Center, and yes she still gets calls from seniors to act on their behalf and she does it, she DIDN'T NEED A SECRETARY.  She made her own appointments, did her own correspondence, visted the sick in the hospital, those too frail to go out, arranged the trips, got people their entitlements (medicaid, Medicare Part D in the beginning stages, food stamps, rides to the doctor) etc. etc.  The only secretarial help she had was a volunteer who was quite dedicated to the seniors and the town.

No gripe from her.  Job was great experience as she went on to be the Chair of Schenectady County Long Term Care ADvisory Council and now for the first Neighbrohood NORC in the State.

I do agree that it wasn't necessary for this molly's husband to get up in her defense. I don't know him, but I think saying he is or was underhanded, without the facts, is underhanded in itself!

But I really do love when you blow your own horn!!

I just went back and saw the video again. Are you implying that Ms. DiLeva didn't have her facts correct?

I wouldn"t be surprised.  DiLeva needs to review the info and review it again and again.  She probably is an ok person but this job does not suit her.

Ms. DiLeva had her facts correct.   The report was never shared with the entire Town Board.   That is why
she and others - like myself - are upset that $6,500 was paid for this "mandatory report" and it got stuck
on a shelf someplace.
