Frankly the Secret Service should be fired if they ever let you near the President or accepted any correspondence from you.

How about this - instead of getting federal taxpayer money, how about you turn to Mr. Gillen and ask him to return some of the $10 million back to the taxpayers.

Nah - I'd rather have a check for $10 million from the Federal Government to build to build a new
community center in Rotterdam.     I'll hit up Mr. Gillen for money for the project, too.

Seriously, where do you think federal money comes from...the Free Federal Fairy? It's OUR TAXPAYER money!! Gillen has taken $10 million from this County alone and hasn't even produced ANY engineering or skilled labor employment - only a handful of waitressing & bartending, minimal wage jobs. Where did $10 million dollars go in Schenectady?! Where's the nanotech buildings, where the software companies...hell where are there any new companies? In Malta, in Saratoga County, in Albany....all the places Metroplex is not!

Once the grant programs are authorized and funded, the money will be spent .. .. somewhere.  I'd rather
have the federal grant money spent HERE in Schenectady County  .....not in Sarah Palin's Alaska or some
other place.

I'd rather would have had $10 million County dollars spent on real jobs rather than on tax-exempt gin mills. Too bad the surrounding Counties are smart enough to ride the nanotech wave. Schenectady is just a tsunami - a taxpayers nightmare.

Personally, I would rather enjoy the meal and discuss the great things that Metroplex has done and, of course,
I would lobby for some federal monies for a new community center and a new park in Rotterdam.

What great things has metroplex done?

Opened up a bunch of tax exempt gin mills complete with a shooting?
Metroplex has resulted families of a meager $30,000 annual income have to pay the property taxes for the millioniares
Open up a tax exempt theater with low paid popcorn makers who get EIC and other taxpayer subsidies
Cause massive traffic jams downtown, and actually now, the whole Schenectady city route on State St
Take a handful of low wage workers off  Hamburg St and move them to Broadway.
Take a taxpaying business of Hamburg St and move it to Broadway where it becomes tax exempt
Take a taxpaying business off Crane St and move it to Broadway where it becomes tax exempt
Take a business off Crane St and move it to Broadway and NOT ONE PENNY MORE of sales tax will be collected (because the business could have moved to Albany and generate the SAME amount of sales tax for Schenectady)
Take a very well heeled multimillion dollar taxpaying business off of Duanesburg Rd and move it to Nott St in a very very high assesed building and exempt the business from taxes - the making the poor people of the city pay the taxes
Open up a wealthy for profit hair do school, exempt them from paying their own taxes and teach some high school drop outs how to cut hair and paint fingernails so they can get a low paying job and get subsidized by the taxpayers with EIC and who knows what else
Open up a tax exempt business so attract criminals.  And the paltry sales tax that taxpayers pay if they eat there causes the taxpayers to pay many times the sales tax collected in paying cops to break up the fights there....and then, give Bombers a 150% tax exemption so they get a handsome check every year while people lose their homes paying for those taxes.

DV won't address these facts on a statement by statement basis

speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
