Yes I was and wasn't aware of any Rotterdam Reps doing anything like this.

Do tell, because I missed it. I'll slap 'em myself!

Unlike the jimmy c years, it was exposed and brought to light. There was no decade long cover up!

Oh, you have kids?  You know what sippy cups are?  I'm suprised.

Of course he knows what sippy cups are, he makes his aunts use them so they
don't make a mess in "his" house.

The fact is that the Democrats have a bigger bench to draw candidates from.   We are well positioned
for the next several years and will just continue to improve our position.

Then why do you continue to run REPS? DEMS have every seat in Rott, Nisky and the City-13 of 15 County Legislator seats-EVERY County office but one Judgeship-and you expect to improve your position? Will you be happy with 100%?

DEMS hit their high water mark. SS Savage getting crushed was your Stalingrad. Major losses coming especially in the City which hasn't had organized opponents since 1993.

If that were true your party would not have been poaching top vote getters from the Republican Party to run on your ballot line
for the last couple of cycles.

The GOP has to face the facts -- it has lost all credibility in the town, the city and the county.

So have the DEMS-especially when the town DEM "leader" signs a letter in support of the new taxing district. How'd that work for you? The City DEMS are the laughingstock of the State. County DEMS lose every time they run for higher office.

Don't think you are popular because the other side left the battlefield. Look out for Roger Rabbit! He was last seen measuring drapes at City Hall.

The Town Democratic leader is doing a great job leading the party in the town and representing us
in the County Legislature.   His principled stand in favor of the ambulance tax district shows his
wisdom and his commitment to providing the highest possible public safety in our community.

I stand behind him and EVERY public official who supported savings REMS.   Of all the folks, I have met
in politics over the years ... I am proudest of being able to call Tony Jasenski a friend.

Okay DVR you are a bit over the top with your sappy blog "love letters."  I find it a bit uncomfortable and trust you are not using a "friend" for some ulterior motive.  That wouldn't be cool.  Not sure of your intentions but you sound like a phoney baloney.  IMHO

Huky I do believe there was an attack on a young grl in the living room of a very well-known REp.  He was a REp in a high position.  It made news and I think he got out of it.  The young girl was quite damaged by it.

Don't forget the former city assessor who made headlines over allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a teenaged boy.  Republican appointment in Rotterdam when the alledged happened.  Right under Signore's snozzola.  How about Joe S. former goomad who got busted in the Town Hall and charged with two felonies. Under Joe S snoozola.  What happened??? Joe and the GOP looked the other way.........So Cicero spare me the self righteous candor about bringing things to light.  This happened after Jimmy C.  So stuff it!

Like I said, I'll slap them myself.  Kids are off limits.  They have enough stuff to deal with just growing up nowadays.  No one should put them in that type of tramatic situation.  Sounds like it was a one time incident? I still don't remember it. Not all acceptable behavior.

The improper advances/touching by the former town supervisor and teacher were well known.  He took advantage of his position with young women.  I hadn't realized how bad it was until many of these young women came out in support of the Guilderland student who was in court over Jimmy.

I don't understand why our own good police officers, and I know we have them, weren't able to catch him all those years.  They seem to know the criminal element and keep things in good order so I never understood how they missed catching Jimmy. Seems like they could have wired one of these young prey and nailed him once and for all.  Why didn't they?  That's never been answered as far as I know.  How come they couldn't catch him?

Yes, Peeper a little too much syrup there DVR.

Maybe it was because Tony J. was too busy playing footsie with the former Supervisor as he steadily rose to the position of
Chief of Police...his close relationship with Constantino was well known.

Really? Besides Tony, what other public official openly supported the unnecessary tax?

thanks Gadfly, hence he should have known and put a stop to Jimmy's continued abuse of power.  He was a police officer that should have protected the innocents not the guilty.  I don't understand why he didn't.  The truth of that situation has never been made public.  If it were, then I could let it rest.

I thought Nicky D supported the tax district?
