For crissakes Cicero get off the Jimmy C bandbox.  Move on!!!!  You still hold on to the Jimmy C fall from grace like a thumb suckin child.  You still wet the bed???

I believe that what cicero is implying here is that the jimmy c's entourage is still alive and well in rotterdam. Bringing with it the jimmy c good old days. If rotterdamians did their homework, they would find this to be true.

Bad habits are hard to break in rotterdam.

You're right BT, if the residents in Rotterdam keep electing the same old recycled politicians nothing will ever change no matter which party gains power.

When all else fails throw Jimmy C out there eh BT?  C'mon the mud from Signore and Tomassone took one term to fill the same bucket.  Move on!!!  Most voters never heard of Jimmy C let alone base their votes on wheather a candidate knew him or not.  Try and tell me that the Signore Admin didn't know that they hired a scumbag assessor who was charged with the same crime as Jimmy was?  Joe S made his Dir of Admin a Jimmy croney.  Steve hired a computer company without going out to bid that was owned by a council member.  MOVE ON!!!!!  You reek ahhhhhhh!!!

Jimmy C's corruption encompassed almost the entire town of rotterdam that lasted for over a decade. Perhaps no one is touching little girls, (that we know of) but the fall out continues in rotterdam. Jimmy c's way of doing business is alive and well in rotterdam. The reps pale in comparison.

Again.....you are entitled to your opinion, but you can not rewrite history.

However, it is time for new fresh faces! Hence, the NNTP!! It's just what the doctor ordered for rotterdam.

I wouldn't call that a fall from grace.  I would call it a conscience effort by Democrat Party supporters to hide from the public what they knew about him.  That's all I'm saying.   Knowingly turning a blind eye to the accusations of unwelcomed advances toward his female students is a permanent mark on a person’s character.  I will continue to hold those prominent democrats that were around during the 13 year reign of Jimmy C responsible for their inaction.  For me, it is a permanent negative mark on those people’s reputations. IMO

Of course, if we dug up some of the real old timers .... you know a Veeder or a Schemerhorn or some other
of the leaders from the 1800's  .... we would have a great town board,

1997 isn't very long ago.  The person involved in the Jimmy C kickback scandal is still here, and pumped thousands of dollars to "Revitalize Rotterdam".

You can talk to yourself about him --- I don't wish to to discuss him.

so many of our supervisors were either Schemerhorns, Veeders, or Wemples ---- not sure how many of their
descendants are still in town.

Most Rotterdam Democrats don't.  But when you start a thread "dream board", how can you not include a supervisor that held office for 13 years.  I say bring him back and run him again.

Why? - because don't believe he is worthy of being put on a "dream Town Board" - I never voted for him
when he ran in the past ... wouldn't vote for him if he ran in the future.

Do you support the "Revitalize Rotterdam" candidates?  Yes?  Bought and paid for by Jimmy C cronies.  Go and look up and see for yourself where the BIG $ contributions came from.  Then go the Times Union Archives and enter into the search bar - Constantino/and some of those big dollar contributors.  Follow the money.

It's kind of like having Karl Rove your chief of staff and disassociating his history during the Bush years.

By the same logic -- you must support the KKK because people from your side used to belong to that
organization.
Grow a brain and learn to use it.

Huh?  You really are an idiot.  I didn't believe people at first, I actually gave you the benefit of the doubt.

A more logical comparison would be:    If your party endorsed David Duke(overt racist) to represent you in the Louisiana House of Representatives,  I would say that the local party and the members that supported Duke bare the same reputation as Duke himself.
