The Town Democratic leader is doing a great job leading the party in the town and representing us
in the County Legislature.   His principled stand in favor of the ambulance tax district shows his
wisdom and his commitment to providing the highest possible public safety in our community.

Wisdom ain't what it used to be. Most wise leaders would know you can't effectively wear two hats. Obvious conflict between making political decisions for the town and running for re-election. Expect his "principled stand" to be on every campaign flier in the fall. ANG & Taxin Tony-what a team!

We're glad to know your true colors too - so we're prepared when you run for office.

I have no plans to run for office ... unless you guys are planning on drafting me to run.

That's funny, you've said repeatedly that you DO have plans for some political office. Another lie or distortion?

I would draw a distinction between "thinking about"/"would be interested"   and "planning to".
I have no plans to run for political office in the next 3 to 5 years.

DiLeva did not support the new tax...but I heard she let REMS put up their sign because FDG literally ordered her not to. ND's goal in
this process was for the vote to be as fair as possible to both sides.

Since when does ND take orders from FDG????

And giving the electorate a false sense of support (with signs) is clearly an example of trying to manipulate the vote. Shame on ND.

Rotterdamians should then expect ND to put up signs for the 2011 candidates that she DOES NOT support. She can get away with the same excuse......'they made me do it'!

Given the degree to which some folks were upset that certain people weren't named on my
"dream town board" -- it got me thinking about the pomposity of some politicians and how
highly they think of themselves  ---
I bet if I announced that I was planning to come up with a Top 10 List of the biggest A##-holes in
local politics .... there would be a few dozen banging on my door demanding to be put on the list.

Never...that's why she finally allowed aggressive REMS supporters to put up a sign after being hounded for some time ...right after
FDG specifically told her not to post any signs for REMS. ND will tell you where she stands...regardless of signs...all you have to do is
ask her.
