I like when Bob quietly whispers "There appears to be some confusion..."

SOME?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Overall, it was a good meeting ... the town honored the Schalmont football team and the Schalmont
SUPA class.     All but 2 of the resolutions were passed in the original form ... 1 was voted down 3-2 and
the other was amended.   It seemed less confrontational than previous meetings.

That could be added Monday.  Isn't that when the actual agenda meeting is, at an hour when most town residents can't make it?

Some town traditions never change! LOL!!!

I understand the town is going to ONE Town Board meeting a month in 2011.

Agenda meetings should be at 7 PM .. for the convenience of residents.   They should do something similar
to the county's schedule  ... have Committee Meetings (basically an agenda meeting)  1 week and then
the full board meeting the next week.   At least with the county, you get an 8 day "heads up" on most
of what is going on the agenda.

Then will they be looking to cut the pay of the council members and the Supervisor?  If they're only going to be showing up on the job half of the time, maybe they should be getting paid half the amount?

It appears as though they have already implemented this schedule, as there is no second meeting during December, neither was there a second during November, correct?

Or is it that they now understand what they're doing, they don't have to come as often, can get the job done easier and that way, don't have to answer as many questions from the public?

I think they plan to implement the new Town meeting schedule in the 1/1/11 organization meeting...and don't hold your breath on
those pay cuts.

Well, there's already only been one meeting for a few months, so then 1/1/11 will be the OFFICIAL grand opening of the 1 a month meetings.

To my knowledge the 1 meeting a month in November and December has been the routine for a number
of years,
I am not sure when the 2 meeting a month schedule was originally adopted -- seems to me that a number
of years back it was just once a month.

Just saw your post--how do you figure it is a persona l thing fosr me?  I am highly amused at that.  Did you read in the minutes where McGarry stated that the "Hamburg Street" merchants were "chirping at him."  NOt personal to me.  I don't live or work on Hamburg Street.  When you guys just can't come up with fact again you try to baffle them with BS.

It is a known fact that the Hamburg St merchants back the entire democrap party and always have and are expecting to get some municipal building built at taxpayer expense on the property of the president of that group soon. So of course they don't want McGeary.
