HaHaHa That's funny Cicero.  Punishment is what happened to JM for not lowering Steve Tommassone's brother's assessment and the large number of other GOP cronies lowered by Craig Surprise.

Why would JM lower a Republican's assessment?  That wouldn't be a "Democrat crony".  I never said cronyism doesn't happen with both parties.

Peeper, you're not really suggesting that Macejka is a good public servant are you?

Some things will never change, like the way he comes and goes from town hall as he wishes.  He'll be the first one to say something about one of us for being 5min late, but has has never been accountable to anyone.

Also, there is nobody who holds a bigger grudge than Macejka!  As for the reval that he pushed for, anyone and everyone working in town hall will tell you it was a disaster.  The numbers were all fictitious to begin with and when it was done they ran for the hills.  Where is all that sales tax money we were promised?

He should learn from his mistakes, or he might find himself watching a rerun of a few years ago.

That reval was pushed for and rightfully so by the Paolino Administration.  Patrick Aragosa chaired the Committee that recommended the Town do it.  Matt Martin was a high school wiz kid who was in the Schalmont Government class that recommended it happen.  John paolino pushed for the one in Schenectady.  Pat Aragosa pushed for the one in Glenville when he worked for Scotia.  It was more than John Macejka.  He's a peon.

Peeps I don't think this is so much about who 'pushed' for the reval, as it is about the way it was handled. Zorro is correct....there were many assessments that were either too high or too low....everybody knows that.

The issue is that JM did NOTHING to correct the errors. He directed everyone with a grievance to GAR. Did JM's responsibility stop with the reval?

Sure there were years of 'winks and nods' before the rotterdam reval.....but there is nothing that can be done about that now. The fact that baffles most rotterdamians, is that JM didn't do a great job as assessor before........why he was asked back now makes folks just shake their heads.

But the facts are that rotterdamians are 'stuck' with him......for now.

Like someone once told me......'you can always come back when the family owns the business'.

Have to admit he is better than Surprise but he is saddled with a less than stellar supporting cast from top to bottom.  The taxpayers seem to be very acceptable to JM coming back.  He is a breath of fresh air compared to the boogey man Surprise.

The Rotterdam Town Hall needs a cleansing from the top floor to the first floor and I aint talkin about the elected officials.

Gerard Parisi once stated, "we are as good as the people who serve the public on a daily basis."  This town has failed the community over the lsat 4 or five years.  That lays at Steve Tomassone's feet.  Sad to say it but the Town Hall is in need of an enema!  Brian can you hear the "Peeps."

Peeper, you are out of your mind!  You think the support staff is the problem???? OMG

And quoting Parisi?  Oh my goodness you have lost your mind.

The only person who came to work less than JM was Parisi.  What a joke.

Ask any girl that went to Mohon and had him for a teacher.  When he stood uncomfortably close to the girls they say you could smell,,,well you get the picture.

13 years Jimmy as Supervisor, and you say the past 4 or 5 years Rotterdam was a failed community?  What do you consider a community that elects a pervert over and over again, while the Democrat Party covered for him despite the known accusations?  I would say 1984 - 1997 Rotterdam was a failed and corrupt community.

I meant how would you know when JM came to work, left work, went on vacation, banged in sick, sneezed, farted or coughed?  You on the inside or do you have someone on the inside even though your buddy Craig got fired,

And Jimmy C is old news. For crissakes Signore bombed out in Jimmy's wake. Talk about delusional.   Joe S was a step lower than Steve and that's being generous. Too bad for the GOP. They are still not ready for Rotterdam prime time. Move to Glenville and smooze Buchanan's goomad for your much needed ego stroke. ROTFLMAO

The support staff are the ones running town hall, it definitely isn't the elected officials.  MG is "too busy"
to call anyone back (I know he isn't elected but you get the point).  EE hmmmm let's see where
is she??????  FDG  - napping.  Bobby G - trying to find a way to keep FDG napping (by spiking his ensure)
so he can take over the world, er the town......

BINGO!!  Ever think the turnover in elected officials has anything to do with that?  I do and I am not alone. Ask the 3500 voters who dumped Steve Mertz and Signore. Their appts are running the arcade.

3500 voters dumped ST/JM/JS is because GP sabatoged his own ticket.  Rotterdam residents didn't "dump" anybody, the head of the "Revitialize Rotterdam" ticket didn't even capture a majority.  McGarry wins a primary for Repubican endorsement and whoever the Dems put up gets steamrolled.
