Do you buy yer pastries from villa italia?
Do you buy yer appliances from marcella's?

Yes -- I do buy pastries from Villa Italia ... and when we redo our kitchen we will be buying appliances from
either Marcella's or Town TV  or some combination of the two.

I think the Recovery Room and the Berkshire Bank are a great project -- removing the eyesore of the
old Capital Plaza.

Now -- as far as specifics about what incentives were given -- that is a separate issue.   I am NOT a member
of the IDA board or the Metroplex boards  -- so I had no input into what incentives they were given.

So -- #1)  my previous statements remain ... I would be less likely  to hand out the property tax
exemptions  IF I were a member of the IDA board than the current IDA and Metroplex boards -- that
doesn't mean that the projects that they got for us are bad projects.

#2) since I am NOT on either the IDA or Metroplex boards -- I am NOT going to respond to MC's bellowing
accusations about me ... quite frankly MC can take his/her nasty attitude and shove it where the sun
doesn't shine

You may not be a memeber of the IDA or Metroplex, but you do have opinions and political aspirations. Do you ideologically believe that it is a good use of taxpayer money to give multi-million dollar companies property tax exemptions and grants in the name of economic development?

First do you believe it is fair for the resident/homeowner to foot the bill that these companies can clearly afford to pay their taxes?

Second, do you believe it even works?

I will give you my answer. NO and NO

I have already answered those questions at length - and certainly people on this website insist on
continuing to misrepresent my position.

As for whether or not I have future political aspirations -- I am quite happy to be working on the Parks
Commission planning for the future of our town's parks and recreation program.  The earliest that I would
consider running for town-wide office is 2013.
