I thought the clerk recorded and transcribed all meetings

There is no record kept for the agenda meetings...it is something Parisi has been complaining about...he believes a record of
these meetings should be maintained...and I agree. Anyone who attends them could easily tell you why they don't.

Parisi seems to be in favor of a lot of things when he is in the minority -- but he didn't seem to be
in favor of those things when his party was in the majority.

Yesterday's agenda meeting was quite revealing with regard to the intentions of FDG and Bob Godlewski...

For one thing, it confirmed the previously noted suspicion of an "end run" around the real target of a proposed job cut. That is, the part timer in
the Supervisor's office that was slated for elimination is suddenly safe...they just conveniently figured out that this comes down to seniority...and the
former typist/FREE Deputy Clerk now working in Public Works miraculously has less of that seniority. You may recall that the password scheme originated
in Public Works. Obviously that failed, so it was on to Plan B. Fortunately DiLeva and Martin are onto it and plan to amend their so-called "cuts", as
they have identified numerous other cuts that can and should be made instead. Parisi was absent, but I'm sure he will see through this scheme as
well. The danger, of course, is Laccardi the Town Attorney, who was vague in his explanation to DiLeva as to the procedure and time frames involved
in proposing changes to the budget...she will not be at the town meeting tomorrow night due to a professional commitment she cannot escape.

Other amended budget items included INCREASES to departments who had requested less money! There is something very fishy about these
budget amendments...especially when you consider that, as usual, FDG/Godlewski/Laccardi are conducting all of the discussions themselves, to the
exclusion of DiLeva, Martin and Parisi...they are our local version of "three men in a room". Be assured that Dieva and Martin are not going to lay
down...and I don't think Parisi will either.

So let me get this straight....The town clerks former typist (who is now in public works) will get laid off
because the Dems are afraid of her?  Does she have something good on them or what?  Who knew
a typist could be such a viable threat to them....

Or is it that maybe they are "repaying Eunice for her service" by getting rid of the person who filed
the grievance against her so the old battle ax can go back to work, which won't happen anyway
because she is sunning herself in Florida.

From what I understand and according to the CSEA contract, all provisional and temporary employees
will have to be laid off first (including part-timers). Good luck Frank and Bobby G. you are apparently
looking for a serious lawsuit against you and the town.  You two are f'n idiots to put the town in a
position where this could turn to litigation. No wonder the attorney fund was jacked up to over $200k
in the next budget.

I don't remember verbatim minutes being taken at Agenda Meetings during the Tomassone Administration
-- and Parisi was working as Town Attorney then and didn't seem to have a problem with a lack of verbatim
minutes being taken at those meetings then.
