So the Republicans and "tea partiers" who post here want to be on the record as opposing
anything that helps existing small businesses or potential new small businesses.  They are just
echoing the national GOP which has blocked legislation to help small businesses.

My opposition research file keeps getting thicker and thicker.

So does your waistline.

All we're saying is that there are ALREADY several groups doing this - why start another, even QUASI run by a govt office? There's really no need, just do your homework, get involved and help guide/shape/lead policies already started by these others. Why be a maverick? Why reinvent the wheel? Private sector is already at work with this. Don't like how they're progressing? Join them and make a change.

Actually my waistine is thinner.

I never suggested that it be run BY the government or even Quasi run by the government  ---
my suggestion was very simple -- very straight forward -- very private sector --- retired and current business
owners or business leaders VOLUNTARILY coming together to work with small business owners and potential
small businss owners,  Period -- end of story --as far as what I had suggested.
it was you folks who began concocting all kinds of fantasies about my idea  .. trying to connect it to
government officials or agencies.

Just because you and your anti-small business crowd have some kind of conspiratorial hallucination ...
doesn't make it true.

So what's wrong with the current organizations (previously identified) that you can't work with?

DVOR, you will fit in perfectly with the ruling class of sophisticated political leaders, here, in Albany and in Washington! WHY? Because you are plain, flat-out, ignorant, blind, and deaf- TO THE FACT that government through its legislative process, and its paneling of experts, and its constant intervention in the free market ACTUALLY HURTS BUSINESS AND THE ECONOMY. You add insult to injury by giving groups like this even the slightest credence and power. You want to get involved with every inner working of every business and every business relationship at all levels such that you CRIPPLE the private sector and weigh it down with tons of chains! I am so sick of imbeciles who have never successfully even run a lemonade stand UP ON THEIR GODDAMN SOAPBOX TELLING BUSINESSMEN (LIKE MYSELF WITH 22 YEARS OF BUSSINESS OWNERSHIP EXPERIENCE) THAT WE ARE AGAINST SMALL BUSINESS! You are a clown with no experience, no accomplishment, no real job and apparent trust fund all because you started as a lucky sperm. I am so sick of your rightiousness and bullshit I could scream. Really WHAT THE f*** DO YOU KNOW ABOUT BEING A SUCCESSFUL SMALL BUSINESS MAN IN THE WORST BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT IN AMERICA THAT YOU AND YOUR PANEL OF INSIDERS COULD POSSIBLY BEGIN TO TEACH ME AND THE OTHER HARD WORKING BUSINESSMEN IN THIS COMMUNITY.

TAKE BOBBY, AND SKIP, AND JOHN, AND EVAN AND ALL YOUR INSIDE DONORS AND GO f*** YOUR SELVES WITH YOUR BUSINESS ADVISORY COUNCIL, AND PUT TONKO AND MURPHY AND PELOSI AND REID ON YOUR COLLECTIVE LAPS WHEN YOU DO IT. JUST STAY OFF MY BACK AND LET ME MAKE MY OWN LIVING! SHOVE THE "RECORD" UP YOURS TOO!

How DARE you accuse anyone of being against business and capitalism when it is YOU YOU YOU YOU YOU and your buddies who want to constantly f*** small business and regulate them, paperwork them, investigate them, audit them, harass them, legislate them and TAX TAX TAX TAX TAX TAX TAX THEM TO SUBMISSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IDIOT! I AM SO SICK OF PONTIFICATING IDIOTS WITH ALL THE ANSWERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since I have already said that it would be good to have reps from the previously identified groups
to be a part of this -- your statement is a complete lie.

Since the proposal was for a group of private citizens who would VOLUNTEER their time and services and
since the proposal came solely from me - and I have NOT a conversation with any of the persons (on
this subject) mentioned in the hate-filled opposition posts  not only is your opposition unfathomable
but your conspiratorial hallucinations are misplaced  -- if the subject of supporting small to medium
sized businesses was not so important ... your opposition to this positive, constructive  private sector
driven idea would be almost humorous.   But because maintaining  and attracting small to medium sized
businesses IS so important you opposition borders on endangering the future of our town.

I have NEVER bashed a local small business.  I have stated there is one that my family and I will not
patronize but that was NOT based on political reasons but because of the rudeness of one of its
proprietors.

Won't address working with the currently (4) existing groups already in Rotterdam, so a logical conclusion is you just want a new organization so you can say you started it ... probably to further your political aspirations.  Gotcha.

Good luck with that.

but is an intentional lie.

Libel is a terrible lawsuit to have to defend Ron, especially on a public message board. Be careful where you tread
