I am optimistic if we reach out to retired and current members of the business community that they will
want to help with this idea.    Everything that we can do to encourage the setting up of new and the growing
of existing small to medium sized businesses will help create jobs and eventually help to lower tax rates in
the town.
I look forward to working with positive-minded persons to achieve this goal.
I will also keep track of the various negative posts - apparently they are opposed to any efforts to help
small to medium sized businesses  .. and the public would just love to know who these folks are if they
ever run for public office in the future.

Will they have spitoons or chaw cups on the tables at Tops Diner or La Famiglia for these meetings, and will there be a boot mat for their muddy Timberlands at the door? Also, will Bobby  be president or chairman of the board. or CEO? Will Evan be VP or treasurer? How about Skip? Do you put him in charge of the PAC?

Rotterdam has to concentrate on infrastructure FIRST!! Rotterdam needs sewers! Rotterdam need to enlarge their already existing sewage plant! Rotterdam needs to deal with the on-going draining problem! Rotterdam needs to deal with it's antiquated water lines! Rotterdam needs to pave it's roads...correctly!

There should be a moratorium on all new development until all infrastructure has been updated. If not....rotterdam will just be piling sh!t over sh!t! Like it has been doing for decades! IMHO

I do agree that we need infrastructure.  However, I don't think that we can wait to grow existing businesses
and attract new businesses.    In a way it becomes a which comes first the chicken or the egg -- in this case,
I humbly suggest that we have to work BOTH issues at the same time.

You just did. We both know it will be the usual cast of suspects, friends of Fran, Mallozzis and others who have something to gain from the state/county/town democraps. Some will wait and wait, and wait, and keep waiting because there is a carrot being dangled like a Central Dispatch Center, a grant, a new facade, a new assessor to lower the assessment, a job, a new park, a lucrative contract, a new field, etc etc. It will be a perfect way to take the political heat off the democrap gang via "The Business Advisory Council recommends this or that, etc" when there is something controversial like approving some zone change, or lowering an assessment, or hiring someone, or repaving a street...

If you don't know it, then you are the only guy here with blinders on.

Since anyone would be invited to participate -- and none of the people that you named have even been
approached with the idea -- your comments are just plain full of crap.
You really are a negative and paranoid person.

Funny, Mallozzi's used to host the Rotterdam Business Association, dunno if they still do or not.

So, it's not GB's comments that are "full of crap" - it's your facts that are skewed.

You folks try to turn everything into an argument.   I am just making a suggestion -- you folks try
to make up all kinds of nefarious schemes and conspiracy theories.

No wonder Rotterdam was so screwed up when your RepubliCAN'T friends ran things.

Anyway, the suggestion is put out there ... hopefully some folks will have some positive suggestions to
add.     I already know that the Nattering Nayboobs of Negativity and Regressives will oppose any idea that
didn't come from them  .. let's hear from the more enlightened, positive-thinking, community-oriented folks
who read this website.
