What kind of man secretly records another man at a cocktail lounge - especially a friend? What a coward?
If this was illegal, why didn't Ang file this with the proper authorities IMMEDIATELY after the fact? It’s just a little too convenient.
Ang is just a grimy politician. George and Angelo were once friends and George supported Ang, helping him get elected for County Legislator. If Angelo is willing to destroy a friendship and secretly tape his friend all for political gain, and change his political stripe in the middle of his term, after his constituents elected him as a Republican County Legislator - why would anybody trust a man with that type of character for State Assembly?
If you say so, I dont think walking in a commuinty hitting 3 houses constitutes in helping getting him ELECTED... Come on now!! You can think think all you want.. NOT OUR FAULT THAT AMEDORE LIED ABOUT EVER MEETING WITH JOE LANARO!!!! Its high time someone stands up to Amedore... |

I can't believe people on here, forget who you support, this quote, how about who threatens a friends job to try getting them out of the way for a stupid election? Allegedy threatens a friends job, but he never lost his job. The allegations and the facts don't match up. Angelo still works for Chazen. He never was fired. George was man enough to actually have the face to face conversation with Angelo, and didn't betray his trust by taping the conversation. Angelo taped a conversation to protect his job which he never lost. I have no use for people that secretly tape conversations. They already have ethics problems in my opinion. |

You all say that because Angelo didn't lose his job, this tape was wrong... Perhaps the reason he didn't lose his job was because of this tape! I say thank you to Mr. Santabarbara, without him taping this, we wouldn't know what kind of sleazy tactics Amedore was using! |

If George had the ability to get Angelo fired, Angelo would have been fired. Angelo would not of had an opportunity to have a pre-emptive taped conversation with George about allegedly threatening his job. How do you say "I heard from my boss you threatened my job" when you still have your job? It doesn't make sense. The coversation was taped April 29th - it's now October 21st. Almost 6 months later. Ang must have really been worried about his job - 6 MONTH LATER! |
